It was a little difficult to put up by myself. I would suggest two people on a large window. The sticky dots do work I have not taken them down so I don't know if it will be messy. It is the same material as a car sun shade.

Cut the size you need for covering the glass area from a window, a door and even a garage door. Recommend to leave some extra fabric so it would be easier block the sun light exposed from the window edge. This is a not direct fit curtain so better check the size first.

Material is as thin as a plastic tablecloth. Doesn't adhere very well. Not worth the pric. Just go get a 1.25 tablecloth at the Dollar Tree.

This review is for the "Perfi Filters Blackout Fabric" in Stars &Moon pattern. I needed to block of a window in a bathroom that had translucent glass as you could still see people inside, which wasn't great for privacy. I had looked into privacy tinting but didn't want to fight with the unforgiving tint or pay an obscene amount for a professional to come in and do it. This blackout fabric fit the bill just fine. There was plenty of material and it was just a matter of cutting and mounting it. This was a bit difficult to cut since I was doing a large size and there are no guide lines on either side of the material. It would have been nice to have some faint gray lines that I could have cut along. The fabric was also a bit hard to cut through with kitchen shears but that should also mean it won't get pulls and runs from people accidentally brushing against it. I overshot the length as you can see on the picture but it went up easily enough, the adhesive circles are a jelly like consistency and I was able to pull them off and restick them to the window without any trouble. Once it was up, I could easily see where I had not cut straight as there was some light leaking in from some of the edges. Not enough that I'd want to redo the window but still accomplished the privacy goal. Overall 1 star off for there not being guide lines but overall really happy with this. Going to put some up in the sun facing windows to see if it will keep the house cooler as well. Also the stars and moons are not glow in the dark or let light in through them, it's just a decorative pattern. ... show more
