The first bracket is the hardest. I ended up making a template for installing the others once I had measuring right. Once you know where you are putting it, easy install! Looks great. When I first opened, I was worried they would look cheap. They do not. They really elevated my space.

Don't know what I was thinking beyond that I didn't want a curtain rod that would sag in the middle but this rod is not a good choice for grommet-style curtains. You have to unscrew them from the wall when you want to remove the curtains for cleaning. Oh well, my fault for not thinking it through. They slide apart for adjusting the width of the rod but not enough that they come apart to remove the curtains, at least not on this particular window width. Aside from my brain cramp, these are simple looking and are solid and do their job well. ... show more

OK it works and is inexpensive but its modular design requires too many steps to construct and install, then hang the curtain and install again. Probably took me 2 hours to understand and accomplish. It's not that strong, would rather use a single rod and two fennels.
