The rods are sturdy, and fit into spaces very snug and tight, if you are careful to properly adjust the length. I use them in the laundry room doorway to give me a place to hang light weight items to hang dry.

There is NO give - no springs to allow to you fit this between 2 walls/cabinets/etc of any distance. The space you have either needs to match *exactly* with the *only two options* for length here, or this is not what you need. And I feel like the majority of people are probably looking for what this is not, as this requires an exact fit. I'm annoyed this wasted my time on the way to finding the cheap, mass produced, and basic tension rod I need to hang some damnhangers up in the laundry room. ... show more
