I got this for my baby hoping it would help him sleep in a little longer in the morning since the sun is rising earlier. It does completely block out the sunlight coming through the window. My only tip is whatever side you decide to put in the wall don’t attach the the shade to it for a few hours and give it some time adequately attach. Mine fell off because I just put both on at the same time but after letting them sit in the wall in their they are holding good and don’t come off when I unattach the shade Update: the Velcro does not stay on no matter what you do. I’ve added a lot more to the top and it still falls off everyday. I’ve ordered some different Velcro strips so hopefully they work better ... show more

I purchased two of these for the sliding porch doors of my apartment, to keep the park lights out at night. I measured and cut just a few inches off the bottom (good to leave extra so it doesn't allow light underneath), and I used only 6 tabs across the top (none needed on the sides) to hang them. I honestly didn't think the velcro would withstand the on and off daily removal as I wanted to only have them up at night... but they are amazing! They not only hold up well (the shade material is quite light), but they were easy to install-- I put the softer velcro tabs on the shiny gray side and the courser velcro tabs on the wall, and they remain firmly in place after many uses. I should've bought these years ago! Super solid product - I love them! ... show more

This is like working with peel and stick wallpaper. It’s absolutely miserable to cut to the size you want. If you want more than one it’s even more of a struggle. I can’t even imagine putting this up and then taking it down and packing it up. I just find this product to be too much work for what it is. ... show more
