These curtains were exactly what I expected. The brown color selection actually appears taupe to my eye. The material is heavy enough to provide some insulating qualities but it is not lined or coated with insulating material. I love these curtains. I needed tall curtains for my home office and these work beautifully since there's 6 windows and the room is flooded with light. The fabric is thick and you cannot see through it. Very nice.

I love the fabric and the pattern of these curtains! The embroidered pattern is beautiful. However, they are not really blackout. They also will definitely need to be steamed. Lastly, they say 84 inches but they really run 1/2 in - 1 in short and that length includes the amount over top of the bar, so you end up with slightly short curtains unless you plan on getting ring hooks with clips to hang them. Since I think they look odd at 2 inches off the ground, I'm going to get some ring hooks so they just sweep the floor. Overall pleased but definitely take length into consideration if you're particular about curtain lengths. ... show more

These are nice curtains that look fabulous with my beige walls. Note that these are not what is commonly referred to as blackout curtains but rather room darkening curtains as stated in the item header and description. They are technically called "50% blackout" which is what is stated in the item header but since the item header is so long, it is a bit confusing. One of my attached photos was taken at noon with one curtain closed and the other open so you can hopefully get an idea of what these are like. I like the thickness of the fabric and the ability to hang these either by the pocket or tabs to create different looks. You can also use curtain clips but note that those are not included. Overall, I'm really happy with the look and design of these curtains. I also think the price (currently $38.99) is good for the quality you get. Note that the cream color in the Brown Geometric Pattern version is more similar to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photos in the item description. These curtains are really nice! They came in several different sizes and I actually got the size I needed. These are the 90" ones and, as you can see from the photo, they are just touching the ground. So, first off I appreciated all of the options. The color is nice...a cream with tan lines. It matches well with my decor. The other thing I like is that they are not super heavy, but I think that they are heavy enough to definitely help with the heat lost to the windows we have in the basement walk out. I have not washed them, so I don't know how that will go, but they seem like they would be ok on a gentle cycle in cold water. You'll just have to refer to the tag for cleaning. They are also wide enough, as you can see, to cover a sliding door and it could probably cover a little larger area than what I have. They are NOT sheer. They do block most of the light, but if it's bright out, just a bit will come in. Definitely not see thru so if you run around butt naked, I'm pretty sure no one will see you through these. The best thing is that it came as a pair of panels and not this one panel stuff. Thus, it gets a 5 rating from me. ... show more
