Have had the oven about two months. This was a replacement of a Sears oven (same size) which died after many years of use. At first, I tried a smaller model to save counter space, but it was too short inside. Burned the inside top of the little one with a bruschetta. Also, don't believe them when they say the little ones will cook 4 pieces of toast! Gave it to my granddaughter. I cook a lot. This oven works so well it is used almost daily. Last night I baked a sweet potato then broiled pork chops without heating up the kitchen. If you don't splatter, it is easy to clean. The push buttons work well and are easy to operate. This is the 2nd of this oven that we’ve purchased and used. 1st one we had to get rid of because temp increase/decrease buttons stopped working. That was also starting to happen with our 2nd one, but the reason for getting rid of this one is that when I went to turn on toaster setting today I heard a power surge sound and then nothing from oven. It just died on me. We used this oven daily..mostly for toasting but also used the bake setting for nuggets and frozen pizzas, etc frequently as well. Will probably try another make and model this time around to see if I can find one that’s made better for the long haul. Pretty happy with this one though so I may be back depending on how that goes. ... show more

We use ours every day for toast and then dinner quite often. It does pizza, brownies, small roasts, convection. We wore the first one out after 5 or 6 years ( maybe more). This one is over a year old and worth every inch of precious counter space.

I purchased 2 and have been excellent. I use it daily and cook all kinds of things there. They are long-lasting, and have a timer for automatic shut-off. The only downside is that the large circular pizza tray does not fit, but I knew this when I bought it because I didn't want a gigantic oven on the counter. I highly recommend it, it is easy to use, the buttons don't fade, has the auto shut-off, can use it as a toaster. I've had them for 8-9 years already. ... show more

I was temporarily living in two places and I wanted a toaster oven at the new location as I had at my original location. I thought this seems like a good price and had all the features that I wanted. However, it is not as good as my other one (an Oster Toaster Oven | Digital Convection Oven, Large 6-Slice Capacity, Black/Polished Stainless). 1.) The top of it gets extremely hot when in use so nothing can go on top of it. With my Oster, I often set my peanut butter or hazelnut spread on top to warm it up as I am toasting bread or something and it would be nice and melted. I cannot do that with this one as it would melt the containers. Warning: be careful not to touch it when cooking or after, you could get a severe burn. The Oster just gets warm to the touch (not burning hot). 2.) Also the settings controls are simple but not as convenient as the oster It doesn't allow you to increase or decrease time or temperature once you started cooking which the oster allowed me to do if I noticed it was cooking faster or slower than I intended. 3.) The initial programming of the cooking settings is kind of frustrating. It times out on you fairly quickly if you are reading the directions, so I have to start over whenever I do not know the settings right away. This happens more often than I thought it would 4.) This last "feature" could be good or bad depending on your viewpoint. I like to just set the temperature and a time and then let it go, I have a feel for how much longer I need to cook it to account for the warm up phase, but this device doesn't start the clock until the temperature is at the set temperature, so I have to adjust for that or wait until it heats up to put the food in and make sure my timing is accurate so it doesn't start counting down the time before I get the food in. I dislike this aspect, but I am sure many others would prefer it this way. For me part of using one of these is the convenience and time, and just putting food in, setting the time, and letting it go is easier for me than having to put it in after it has heated up. Now that I am back to living in one place this one has gone down in the basement kitchen where it gets used sparingly. My daughter who lives in my basement often still comes upstairs to use the Oster despite this one being right where all her food and kitchen supplies are. That said, this one was a good price and it works, but I just was spoiled by the quality of my oster, and this one doesn't quite match it. ... show more
