This is a must have for anyone who does their own flower bed and surrounding small areas too small for regular lawn mower. It works extremely well, does the job neatly, precisely and accurately Aesthetically it performed well beyond my expectations, and I am exuberant about its ability to uniformly, with detail accuracy, clear unwanted grass and overgrown shrubbery where I did not want it. I've mowed and trimmed my lawn about 5 times with this now and it's just fantastic. For the money. As long as you have a small lawn. My lawn is about 1000 square feet. If the lawn were much larger than that it might be too much for this. So, you get a little lawn mower, an edger, and a string trimmer, all in one. Never have to charge batteries, batteries never run out of charge, and it's probably as powerful as the most powerful battery operated ones, since it has an unlimited supply of all the power it needs. Dragging around an electric cord is a little cumbersome but again, as long as the yard is fairly small then it's no big deal. I mow as if I were vacuuming a carpet, moving sideways until that 6' strip of lawn is finished then move on to the next 6' strip. That keeps the cord behind me at all times. The edger takes some practice to do well but it's doable and the end result is nice. And when you're done the handle collapses down to save space, which is nice. The one negative is the cord connector which is designed to be used with only their power cords (sold separately) but I was able to squeeze my cord into it and it works fine. Trimmer string feed has not failed, and I know to keep the string cutter clean and sharp. Mower has 3 height positions for different grass heights, easily adjusted. Mower is of course light enough to easily pick up and swing around into position--something you can't do with a regular mower. All in all it's really cool. Low cost, compact, easy, light, and it works. I almost feel guilty, given the hassle my neighbors have to go through with their mowers and trimmers. ... show more

Easy to assemble, easy to operate on the 3 modes. I was particularly impressed about the easiness and quality of the edge trimming and for the creativity of converting a string trimmer into a string mower by simply snapping it into a mower support. It is very light and easy to handle. As a string mower, it can easily be handled with one hand and feels like you are vacuuming a carpet floor instead of mowing a lawn. As an edge trimmer, the small wheel assists in guiding the motion as well as keeping control of of the precision, requiring less efforts than a trimmer that does not have that assistant component. As a string trimmer is where I don't see this product much better than other options. It is very light and easy to handle, but so are others. To me, what makes this a great product is because it is really an effective 3-in-1 and very easy to maneuver on those 2 applications where a conventional string trimmer is not as good or as easy. This thing is insane. Does such a fantastic job, and it pushes as easy as a vacuum cleaner. Super light weight, adjustable height for the weed eater. I used the weed eater seperate and combined with the mower base. Loved both features. Not sure why it advisedto not hose down plastic pieces unless it's worried people will heavy blast the items. I hosed everything down on mist to get all the grass out from everywhere and dog poop off the tires then let everything air dry before storing. I have a pretty big yard and don't mind if it takes a while with this item, it's great exercise and gives me a little time to myself.     • Nice Little Mower But Bottom Attachment Gets Clogged With Grass Easily and Have to Watch Cord

Overall, I like this little device. It is light, compact, easy to use and to assemble. It cuts the grass well and creates a smooth finish. It has a few negatives to point out. The weedwacker part pops off easily during cutting if the plastic bottom gets full of loose grass or if I run over a bump or go down a steep hill; it also pops off with sharper turns. The first cord I tried did not fit the narrow plug that the lawnmower has. I had to get a different cord and use another extension cord to allow it to go a decent distance. The cords are a pain, they get stuck over rocks and debris and get unplugged, so have to take multiple breaks to fix that. The plastic bottom needs to be cleaned out frequently from the loose grass, otherwise the mower does not operate as it should and the top gets loose as I mentioned earlier. I wish this would have come with the option to also have a battery, not just either or. This would have allowed me to go to the father places in the yard where the cord does not reach, no matter how long it is. Still, I do like the convenience of the cord and not having to recharge the mower. Last thing to mention is the constant need to be squeezing the trigger on the handle to have the mower running. This makes my hand quite fatigued if mowing for prolonged times. I wish there was a button to keep the mover on without having to constantly squeeze the trigger. ... show more
