If they don't spout this way I'm going to try to germinate them in a damp paper towel next; I just always forget about them doing it that way. I followed the directions on the packet precisely but not even one seed produced a sprout. This was my first attempt at a cherry tree but I've started all kinds of plants from seeds before. I put the seeds on damp papertowel wrapped in tin foil in the refrigerator to have them germinate as stated in the instructions. It didn't happen. Too late to return.
