When I saw a previous review mentioning cleaning up after a bunny, it piqued my interest and thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did! Yes, it’s quiet and works very well on bunny and cat fur, kitchen floors, area rugs (we’re all tired of not being able to go from floor to carpet to area rugs without compromising something) all without having to change settings. Easy to put together. Easy to empty too. I had a regular (non-powered) Bissel sweeper for floors and thought it was awesome then, but this is perfect! It’s also perfect for a quick touch up before company stops by, without having to drag out my heavy Dyson (I love my Dyson Animal, but some days i don’t feel like lifting it up and down stairs) and get the job done. You really can’t miss with this. we will see how well it holds up, so that’s the only comment I can’t add at this time. So far, it’s an A-plus. ... show more

It did exactly what I needed to do. Pick up cat litter. So I was excited to see that it worked. THis vacuum is more for little spills or sweeping a kitchen floor. It's not for a full blown powerful sweeper but it does small jobs great! One weird thing is when you charge it the red light stays red. It doesn't do like a green light to let you know that it is fully charged so it lost a star for that one. When you first get it you have to charge it for 16 hours. Then it is powerful for about an hour. When it dies again it says to charge it for 12 hours so there is a lot of charging going on. You have to empty the little tray a lot which isn't a big deal. For the price this is a great little sweeper for picking up things like cheerios, cat litter and pet hair. I really like it. Oh and it's very quiet so my cat wasn't terrified lol ... show more

I really wanted to like it. The design is sleek and aesthetically pleasing but it blows dust and doesn't hold charges. It stopped working. It doesn't do it's job. It got returned. I have pet rabbits and they make a mess with their hay. I need a flat bottomed vacuum without a canister to use daily. I purchased this to replace a similar Shark vacuum as my handle broke on my Shark Cordless Floor and Carpet Sweeper. I did not want to experience the same quality issue with that model of Shark, so I chose this vacuum. I have a Bissel shampooer I enjoy for my carpet so I decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, some positive reviews and a sleek finish is all the good this little vacuum has. This piece of household equipment did not function well after the initial charge and it's maiden voyage use. After using the vacuum and trying to charge it, the vacuum does not hold a charge. The suction power became weaker with each use, and then it stopped charging all together. The dust it is supposed to sweep up also comes out of the top. The seal into the debris collection bin is not tight enough, it blows dust that it is supposed to be sucking up. Truly, this is the most ineffective vacuum I have ever used as it does not work. I can not use this as it's a hunk of junk. I need something that works everyday. A manual carpet vacuum would be more effective than this. Bewildered with my vacuum issues, I called Shark. They're sending me a replacement vacuum and said my product was under warranty. While this did suck up hay and bunny poos, it blew a lot of dirt around. I live in a dusty environment. In comparison, the Shark has more suction power than this vacuum. To me, the Shark Cordless Floor and Carpet Sweeper is worth the extra few dollars. While the Shark does blow around some dust as the seal is not super tight on that, it functions daily with heavy use and a few bunny chomps on it's wheel. I would avoid this purchase all together. I could have gotten a bad apple, and your mileage may vary with this selection. Based on my experience, I encourage you to seek a different option or go with a manual sweeper.     • Works well for awhile. NiCad batteries fail after about 18 months.

We like the product. Works great on cat litter, pet hair and cleaning up around the bird cage. It's weakness is the NiCad battery pack. The last two we've owned each became useless after the battery pack stopped holding a charge.

I never write reviews, but this is worth my time. I bought this to use on my hardwood floors. I assumed it would do a fairly good job. I was wrong, it was excellent! I thought my floors were pretty clean so I was shocked by the amount of stuff it picked up! It’s nice that you can actually see it working. I had no idea there was so much hair, dust and debris on my floors! I clean as a profession so I have used a lot different vacuums. This is what you need for everyday! It takes zero effort to run it.
