  • Excellent cost-effective unit that works great!
Style: SlimEdge
OK, so I gave this five stars because once installed it is a fantastic product. However, I did have installation issues with the 7/8” metal bolt & beveled washer that connects to the toilet float valve under the tank. I am a DIY kinda person who does a lot of projects and fixing around my home, so this did not seem like a hard project. I will explain more below and I hope the folks @ Bio Bidet are reading this because I have 2 suggestions for them, but first for the positive stuff . . . If you are in the US have have travelled abroad (Europe and elsewhere) you most likely have seen a bidet in a hotel or somewhere. Most Americans are not very familiar with these units. They are typically separate from the toilet - stand-alone bidets. In Asia many toilets have bidets (feminine wash) and posterior wash built into the toilets. Japan probably has the most hi-tech toilets (also called Washlets) - with seat heaters, water heaters, lights, and many other features (expensive!). This Bio Bidet unit is a great cost-effective solution. I have been using it for about 3-weeks now, and it really is better than I expected. Yes it does use your tap water with no heat, but that is really not a problem. You will def save money with this unit. I have had the same roll of toilet paper on the wall for 3 weeks, and is is only half used. You only need the t-paper for drying off the water. The unit has 2 settings - one for posterior, and one for feminine hygiene. You can also easily control the water pressure. The middle setting is off. All the valves are metal, and the piping is braided metal. Quality. If more Americans used this unit, the US toilet paper manufacturers would have a sales problem! I did question at first why the seat bolt mounting system was so elaborate. But then I found out that not all toilets have seat bolts 5 1/2” apart. This unit is designed to fit different types of toilets. However, prob 90% of toilets sold in the US use 5 1/2” spacing. Anyway, here are my 2 humble suggestions . . . 1. See Photo 1 attached. All 3 toilets in my home have flared seat bottoms. The photo text should explain my suggestion. 2. See Photo 2. Bio Bidet should replace the metal bolt attachment at the toilet seat valve with a typical large plastic 7/8” attachment nut that you find on toilet tank hoses. These large plastic nuts have the washer built-in, and can be hand-tightened. The metal 7/8” bolt attaching nut that this unit comes with gave me a problem. Even though I installed the black beveled washer correctly (thin side up against the toilet valve) it kept leaking. I used their pipe tape, then my thicker pipe tape, checked the washer, etc. Finally, I used Plumbers Thread Seal on the washer, and it worked. No leaks! I have an American Standard Champion 4 toilet with a FluidMaster float valve. Also, using a metal nut on plastic threads is never the best way to go. Other than my small installation issue, I highly recommend this unit. You will be very happy & surprised on how good it works and how well it’s made - and you will wonder why you never bought something like this sooner, like I did! ... show more

  • After installing, I was sad I waited so long
Style: SlimEdge
This is one of those things you didn't know you needed. Is there anything worse than "itchy-butt?" We all get it and no one wants to talk about it. You know you wiped and you should be good, but later, you realize, you have an issue. I have kids still in diapers, so baby wipes were the way to go. Not anymore....I look forward to my person time of regularity. Install was very easy. The knob only turns two directions....you need to go easy at first and see what kind of pressure and where you need to be properly seated in order to get this right. Cons: I don't think it will save on toilet paper....you're showing your lower region and you still need to wipe. Water bill will probably go up....not going to lie, it is a SHOWER for your lower region and its not like you are just spritzing there. If you don't sit far back enough for the rinse, you will get splash back on the rear of the toilet seat. We keep a washcloth to get all the spray off the back of the toilet. Last con...don't expect to turn the dial up too far...it will STING. Get used to it and then make adjustments. All in all, not looking to save cost on toilet paper or water, but looking for that clean feeling and this is a great thing to use....for the cost, I recommend it to all my friends and family that ask about it. ... show more

  • Sturdy, heavy duty metal parts, very easy to install with all parts included.
Style: SlimEdge
Ordered this and was so happy with the shipping time. Box was nicely designed and kept the product safe during shipping, I’m 9 months pregnant and I was able to install in a few minutes. The butt option is quite strong for obvious reasons, but the “lady” side allows more of a range in pressure for softness. No leaks so far, and it works great under our summer infant potty training toilet seat, it’s nice and flush and I really couldn’t ask for much else, especially at this price point. The metal parts are heavy duty (much better than the plastic tubing other bidets offer) that was a big selling point for me and I’m really glad I chose this model! ... show more

  • Excellent buy!!! Would recommend to anyone!
Style: SlimEdge
I've absolutely loved this product and would recommend it to anyone! This is my 1st time ever using Bidet (I'm environmentally conscious and when this COVID business hit and toilet paper became scarce I decided it was a good time to try it) and I feel as if I've chosen an excellent product upon purchasing and installing this model! It was not difficult to install, although I did have to be cautious not to secure too tightly as our newer toilet has plastic connections which caused leaking and issues with fitting until I realized that I was simply trying to tighten it too much. The knob on the side is easy to use and I really like that it's angled slightly - that seems a more natural/ comfortable position for the wrist. For those who have never used one if these - I DO recommend turning the knob ALL THE WAY to the open position quickly when using as hesitation and slowly turning is NOT beneficial, lol! (Think of your hose settings... the more narrow settings cause a more concentrated JET of water) It sprays hard enough to clean well when it's opened all the way - slightly opened stings a bit, but nothing too terrible. 😉 All-in-all, I've been absolutely delighted with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone! Best of luck in your search! ... show more
