    • Great Little Device (after the firmware update)
This is the second Binize device I've bought and I really like both of them. The older one is Android 9 but I wanted to try the updated version with Android 10. I was really disappointed with the Android 10 version at first because it was super laggy and slow. But, I reached out to the Binize customer support team and they got right back to me with a download for an updated version of the firmware (they have very responsive customer service). I installed the new firmware and the device has been working great ever since. I can install just about anything I want from Netflix to Amazon Prime Video to Apple Music to weather apps. I use Apple Music a lot and like having the full version of the app versus the limited CarPlay version. Speaking of CarPlay (or Android Auto), you can run the Android tablet version of the software on the Binize device and the CarPlay version at the same time and switch between them - it works well. I've noticed that calls through CarPlay get an occasional "crackle" but it's pretty minimal. There are some limitations to what you can install. We watch Disney+ from time to time as we're waiting to pick someone up but the Google Play store wouldn't let me install it on the device. I found where I could download the Disney+ apk file though, did a virus scan on it, and then used an app Binize supplies to get it installed. It works great and even gets regular updates now. Overall, I recommend the device if you'd like to add more functionality in your car. It goes without saying that you shouldn't use the video apps while driving of course. They're great when you're stopped and waiting to pick someone up though. ... show more

After having a prior (different brand) box simply brick and a different version off Amazon not even work, I was worried if I'd have a hard time finding a decent one. This one is great! No complaints and the GPS works!

    • Can not be used with wifi and car play at the same time
This device relies solely on a SIM card for functionality. It doesn't operate when connected to Wi-Fi tethering from a phone alongside wireless car play simultaneously. The product's description is misleading, promising functionality it simply doesn't deliver. This leads to frustration and immediate returns. Despite claims of excellent customer service, attempting to access support redirects to a Chinese website that's unreachable and entirely in Chinese. If you're seeking wireless car play, there are far more affordable options available, making this purchase a waste of both time and money. The limitation of not being able to use the device with a phone hotspot for network and wireless car play simultaneously is baffling. It restricts it to only one function at a time, defeating its purpose entirely. The inability to use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi concurrently, requiring constant disconnection from the phone to access either wireless car play or network, poses a serious safety risk, potentially causing distractions leading to accidents. This is particularly problematic when used with a 2022 Lexus GX460, as its functionality significantly impacts the driving experience. The device's poor design, frequent crashes (2 or 3 within the initial hours of use), and cumbersome setup contribute to an overall disappointing experience. ... show more

    • Excellent product and great customer service
The media could not be loaded. I have used the Binize Android for about 6 hours on a recent road trip with Apple CarPlay. Installation and set up was very easy in my 2024 Toyota Sienna. The device connects quickly and the user interface works smooth like OEM. The only minor issue I’ve had is the device has disconnected a couple of times but it’s very quick to reconnect. It wasn’t really an issue but I did reach out to their customer service on Facebook after activating my warranty. They were very quick to respond and help troubleshoot my issue. Honestly, this was one of the best after sales service I have received and experienced from an Amazon purchase or anywhere else. I highly recommend giving this product a try. ... show more

Unfortunately the FORD version of Carplay does not allow access to certain entertainment apps like Youtube and Netflix for liability reasons. That's where this carplay box comes in handy. It turns your Ford SYNC system into a Android tablet. Any app you can install on Android can be installed on this handy little multimedia box. I installed this in my '22 F350 with 12" screen. Everything was great at first but then I got an update from Ford to enable the OEM FULL SCREEN carplay and take advantage of the 12" screen. My guess is since the update from Ford is so new, Binize didn't have a firmware yet to support it. I was a little bummed to have full screen capabilities but not have it working so I decided to reach out to tech support. It was late Friday night when I emailed them and figured it would be at least a few days before I heard back. I was shocked that I got a response in about 5 min considering the time difference. After answering a few questions they were able to make a custom firmware update to support my full screen SYNC. It worked great the first time and I couldn't be more happier with the product.     • Best device to watch videos in your car
Binize is the best device to watch videos if you have wired Apple CarPlay in your car. Their customer support is very responsive. In case, you cannot connect to personal hotspot on your phone to use Internet just reset network settings on your phone and you will be fine.

The media could not be loaded. Genuinely plug & play...love love love watching Netflix in car. Binize is the best carplay box I've had!! UPDATE: As my 2020 Lexus, listed as compatible, does not have touchscreen, navigation was challenging. Bought the Binize AirMouse to address that, but no way to interface the mouse w/ the AI BOX...Binize tech said to "try plugging the AirMouse into another USB port"... of course they were guessing & that didn't work. Item returned... went with MMB brand w/ AirMouse. ... show more
