I got an older bike trailer for free, an instep duo cruiser, but it didn't come with the coupler and I couldn't find anywhere that would tell me which was the right one. I ordered both the straight version (this one) and the angled one, and this is the right one for that trailer. Installation was straightforward, I've done these before. But my bike has a back rack on that bolts to the bottom of the frame near where this coupler attaches to the axle. I found that that was in the way, this coupler would not sit flush as required. So I took the grinder to this piece and cut out a notch to make it fit. Kind of an annoying step, since the shoulder on this doesn't need to be as wide as it is, but I made it work.
