  • Awesome bang for your buck.
Color: Black
great pen. This is my first rotary machine after learning on coils. There was an adjustment period, and I think I am still adjusting to it, but being able to tattoo for hours without my hand going numb and cramping up from carpal tunnel is great! Also being able to hear my clients talking to me. Here’s an actual actual review tho. I don’t like the positioning of the part that adjusts the needle depth. It can easily be turned unintentionally, even with a bag over the pen. It would be much nicer if it was situated further back on the pen. It’s a bit goofy. I find that wrapping over the wrap w tape helps prevent this issue. The needle gets stuck in or out of the tube after running the machine. I wish it would either stay out or stay in. Not sure if this is intended, since this is the only rotary I’ve used and have only been using it for so long. One last qualm (albeit more personal probably) if you have a faster hand speed, it will require some playing around. I noticed my lines looked way more solid moving my hand slow, and I don’t want to crank this machine up too much as I’m nervous about tearing someone up. (The lack of sound is kind of intimidating, coils make it easier to hear the “bog” and you can tell if they’re angry based on the sound lol) ... show more

It feels right, it’s light weight with a very consistent quiet motor.

  • Just as good as the expensive ones
Color: Black
First off the machine works so good. Im a professional artist and I've been using rotary pens for a little over 2 years. Something happened to the grip on my bronc v7 so I ordered the newer v10. While I waited I needed something else for a few days and decided to give this a try. Not disappointed! Lines like a champ and shades like a beast. My only concern and dislike is the small grip. Its comfortable but difficult to cover, and Im concerned theres a lot of cross contamination going on with some people that aren't familiar with aseptic technique. Regardless, this machine is beyond worth the 60 bucks. Buy it! ... show more

  • Light and powerful. Ranks with the most expensive of machines.
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I am a big fan of the Big Wasp cartridges, so I figured I would give the pen a chance. I have used it a handful of times and am very pleased with the way it performs. It does have a Japanese motor, but you can barely tell. I have used some of the $300+ machines in my career and this is surprisingly comparable. Performs very precise and solid lines at a relatively low voltage, resulting in a longer life for the machine. As well as being exceptionally powerful, it can also give a very delicate hit for soft shading and next to nothing gradients. I was pleased at the length being slightly smaller than my last couple pens. I strongly suggest this machine for everyone that is immersed in the rotary tattoo art. It is very lightweight, resulting in longer periods of tattoo time without stain on hands and wrists. ... show more

  • Making rattling noise
Color: Black
I don’t want to write a bad review because it’s actually a pretty good machine. However after having for a little over a month and only using maybe 10 times it’s making some rattling noise when the needle is in. I would have like to write the seller so that it wouldn’t look like a bd machine cuz again it’s pretty good. ... show more

  • Amazing for the Price!
Color: Black
I have been wanting to try a Pen machine for awhile but haven’t been able to bring myself to invest in a Cheyenne. So I figured this machine might be a good starting off point. It’s amazing for the prices. The day after I got it, I used it for a 6 hour session and my hand wasn’t tired at all. It all packs in ink extremely well and runs so smoothing. It’s my favorite machine now! Beating my Stealth Lite. ... show more

  • Silver pen.
This is my first time using a pen, and this thing works great, i figured i would give this one a try before i buy something more expensive and I think I made a great choice, this thing runs great, quiet smooth and hits hard enough to line and yet soft enough to shade, and looks beautiful too. I did 2 small tats with it and it lines really nice at 8.9v and shades really well at 7.3, not bad for the money. ... show more
