This is my second pair of these stands. My first pair were bought over 10 years ago and the new ones almost identical to the first set with similarly good quality. Sometimes quality degrades over time but not the case here. These are heavy duty and sturdy jack stands which are a good size and height for light duty trucks and SUVs that have a higher ground clearance. The ratcheting catches work well and the safety cross pin provides additional security and confidence. I'm sure you can spend more and get better but for my DIY purposes i think they are a good value. ... show more

They are nice and sturdy. Can hold up a Mazda CX-5 without any issue. When they are the long stands keeping the car up, it doesn't have any wobble or anything like that. Very easy to use as well.

I recently bought the Amazon Basics version however, and with a saving of $7 over these, I think I would buy the Amazon version again over these. I was amazed to learn I could buy these NEW for the same price! They're also high quality jack stands for the price. For a budget-friendly option, you'll not find better quality. The additional lock out bar is intended to prevent an accidental release of the primary lock system. The units are steel and the secondary safety bar appears aluminum.
