Let me start by saying that while this is not as overbuilt as some other name brand ovens... it has a lot of great features for the price point. It's not going to hold the temp quite as steady as the brands that cost 2-3x as much but it's a heck of a nice oven to start with! The biggest win with this is the dual fuel... having an electric option basically gives you the option to cook indoors or on a closed in patio. That makes pizza night possible even when it's nasty outside! Plus, electric is a good way to start where you're not fighting temp as much as you might be with pellets. I'm a pellet guy myself but admittedly it's nice to have the indoor option. I like it so much for the price that I decided not to knock a star off for the one biggest glaring omission with the design... There's no temp gauge. We've got IR temp sensors we use around the shop so that works but you REALLY need to know temps to have repeatable results. Seems like it wouldn't be that expensive to stick a thermometer in it.... ... show more

    • Enjoyed my first try
This came today and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I have been making bread so I had some dough proofing. The set up was very easy and since I have a pellet barbecue, I had them on hand already plugs into a standard outlet so I got it going and plugged it in. I didn’t have the toppings for pizza but I did the dough. Made it kind of like a focaccia I guess. I can’t believe how quickly it cooked. Even browning, even on a new pizza stone. I know it will only get better it’s it’s used and get seasoned so I can’t wait to get all my toppings and get ready to make a real pizza. Very well-made and easy to set up. I have an outdoor kitchen with regular size cabinets, so the depth is perfect and the width isn’t too much. ... show more

"I really want to give this a full five stars because it's built so well! The construction is excellent, and both the electric and pellet functions work exactly as designed. We used it for the first time this weekend, and the pizza turned out fantastic. The only downside is that the pellet feeder is located in the back, which can be difficult to access if the oven is placed on a countertop. We have an outdoor kitchen with plenty of counter space, but reaching back to feed the pellets is a bit inconvenient. However, this isn't an issue when using the electric fuel source. Overall, it's a great product with outstanding performance—just something to keep in mind if you plan to use pellets regularly!" ... show more

    • Can use it inside!
Super versatile with the dual fuel. When I originally ordered it the model was LP/wood but I guess they changed it. Electric is maybe a little nicer because you can use it inside! The square stone fits the entire cavity and is much friendlier than a round stone. Easy to load and unload and cooks a great pizza. I was hoping you could heat the unit up with electric then switch to wood to cook but that isn't the case. You need to change parts out that are really hot. Great oven though, and you can use it rain or shine! ... show more

    • Nice bulbs that work well.
This is a nice addition to our patio kitchen. Being electric or pellets, makes it so much more usefull. I have tried both and it works great either way. The electric side of it is easier to control and provides a very uniform cooking with no mess. Either way you will need a temperature gauge to keep an eye of how things are going and provide the correct temperatue. The good side of the electric is that you can set it and it will stay at that temperature all the time. Assembly, setup, and prep was a piece of cake. The instructions were complete and easy to follow. This was my first pizza oven so I wound up going to Youtube for a little help. Now I am an experct and my pizzas come out perfect and really cook fast. Overall. I really like this and I wish I had got it sooner. ... show more

The Bighorn Pizza Oven is great. Very easy to assemble and use can do electric or Pellet . Pizza taste great you have to stay with it. Cooks very fast. Highly recommend.
