Total honesty, I did not buy this for a baby. I bought this a couple of months ago for a very old pug that was disturbing my sleep. The co-sleeper is terrific. I have been using it with the side panel dropped which makes it easy to take him in and out of it. I like that I can have one end raised a bit which seems to help with his snoring. The bassinet seems well made. I wouldn't hesitate to use this for a human baby! I did have a little bit of trouble putting it together initially, because a few of the rods for the base were a little tight. However it only took a few minutes to get it figured out and with a little added pressure went together just fine. ... show more

    • Great Versatile Baby Bassinet with Easy Bedside Access

This bassinet is great, especially if you want easier access to your little one throughout the night. For our first child we had a more traditional basinet which made nighttime feedings (with a bottle) or even just providing soothing throughout the night a chore at times (needing to reach over the edge of the bassinet, etc). With this 4 in 1 basinet that isn't a problem at all as you can easily detach one of the sides. This bassinet is a bit more "flimsy" compared to others that I have seen/used due to the single pole/support on each side. Despite this, it is still sturdy overall, and I trust it to hold our baby. The various additions such as the mesh baby supply holder underneath and the "craddle" functions are nice additions. ... show more

When traveling, packing something for your baby to sleep in is always a challenge. This bassinet is light and easy enough to put together. It may not feel sturdy, but unless your baby weighs 100 pounds and likes jumping up-and-down, the basinet is fine. The biggest bonus is one of the sides, called the sleeper side, which allows you to fold the side down and have easy access to your baby.
