  • It is AWESOME! Replacing my drive thru habit
Color: Aluminum Silver Size: 1-Cup Pattern Name: Pot
I got this little wonder today ; I followed the instructions and brewed through with just water three separate times (and allowed pot to cool between each time so it took awhile but worth it). I used cafe bustelo espresso grounds (will try various kinds in future). I used this to create an iced caramel macchiato (or at least a homemade version of it). I can’t drink hot auto drip coffee because it gives runs but cold brew tastes bland to me so I usually try to get an iced caramel macchiato lately in the morning. I also purchased Torani’s caramel sauce and syrup (from Walmart), cafe bustelo espresso grounds (Aldi). I already had almond milk at my house but purchase it at any grocery store (you can use your preferred milk). I had a glass mason jar on hand, not sure when or where it was purchased. For moka pot, I followed instructions- poured water in bottom, then put cafe bustelo espresso grounds in filter, screwed on top, and put on glass cooktop (electric stove) at medium heat. While waiting, I got out mason jar, squeezed caramel circles onto bottom and added a splash of caramel syrup. I had the moka pot in sight and was watching and listening while completing these other tasks. I waited for moka pot to finish and removed pot from heat. I added ice to my mason jar and then almond milk. I poured out two shots of the moka pot brew (one and a half espresso cups worth of brew; I have a 1 cup moka pot, you can see my tiny, white espresso cup in picture). I then poured the shots over top of ice, milk, and caramel syrup and sauce. I know you’re supposed to drink as is but I have a habit of stirring my iced macchiatos after a couple sips. Anyway, I LOVE it!!! Tastes similar to Tim Horton’s iced caramel macchiato which was my goal. I highly recommend and this was only my first one. Total time was approximately ten minutes (you do have to baby sit moka pot but better than sitting in a drive thru!). Very tasty and I am over the moon happy about this!! ... show more

  • Perfect for my needs
Color: Aluminum Silver Size: 6 -Cup Pattern Name: Pot
I typically make 4 oz of espresso in the morning for my breakfast mocha: 12 oz of steamed milk, espresso, some chocolate syrup. This was perfect for travel use when I couldn't take my espresso machine with me. If you have a vacuum container for your coffee grounds, or want to grind fresh every day, you can have great coffee all the time when on the road. Make sure you read the instructions about seasoning the pot by brewing coffee 3 separate times before using it; once you get used to the quirks you'll never want to use a drip coffee maker again. ... show more

  • Great Coffee? Yes, Just follow the instructions!
Color: Aluminum Silver Size: 6 -Cup Pattern Name: Pot
Hadn't used one for years but re-embraced it during a recent stay in Italy. Most of the negative reviews look like people not reading the instructions/tips. Most common errors are putting aluminum in the dishwasher and not seasoning before use. (the print is small but it's all there) After using the 3 and 6 "cup" models several times a day for a couple of weeks, I ordered the 6 and had it waiting for me when I got home. Using several times a day now because it's so simple and satisfying. It's not expresso but it's a delicous dose of strong coffee. Only unpublished tip is be thorough when cleaning grounds off the gasket and mating surface as you can kind of imbed them into the gasket and hasten it's deterioration or failure which seems like common sense however the fine expresso grind can be elusive so be judicous cleaning the lip of the water canister before screwing it together. ... show more

  • My Fav
Color: Aluminum Silver Size: 6 -Cup Pattern Name: Pot
I Have never used any other style of coffee maker and I Love Bialetti. Make sure it comes form Italy, this one does! There are other imitations out there and they do not add up. I think maybe two years ago I ordered one off Amazon and it was time to replace they sent me a sample size packet of Italian coffee with my coffee maker but Not this time! This is the only thing that was disappointing. ... show more

  • The one for the COFFEE NOOB | Good coffee at home
Color: Aluminum Silver Size: 1-Cup Pattern Name: Pot
tl;dr - The one to get for just for one person( one cup . I like it fresh :D ) - The closest I could get to my office espresso machine with limited space - Did not really want to invest so much in an espresso machine. Considering if some one drinks less coffee, I would definitely not want to have a big microwave size machine sitting on my counter. - If you love to drink coffee, don't want to get the espresso machine, still want some good coffee, get it. - IF YOU HATE MEASURING YOUR COFFEE, STILL WANT COFFEE, GET THISSS. - I hate measuring coffee because it feels like a science experiment or baking when I start measuring. :x - The one-cup version will look like/feel like a toy if you have big hands but it works great. - tldr became too big. - I am sorry - Last thing, JUST GET A MOKA POT AND COFFEE FROTHER AND YOU HAVE GOOD COFFEE AT HOME ON A BUDGET AND A SETUP THAT WONT TAKE A LOT OF SPACE. TRY SWITCHING COFFEE BLEND TILL YOU FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. ( You should probably be using espresso grind or just a little course than that. ) I really really like Coffee...... but not the one I make at home. Before the moka pot, I tried aeropress, french press, drip ,french press ... Basically a few things which I could find that were cheap and did not take much space in my tiny house. During quarantine, I am drinking way more coffee at home and I really want a good cup of coffee every day. Earlier, I used to make all my coffee at office using their fancy-ass espresso machine. It was intimidating at first but I once asked one of the office staff who was cleaning the machine to teach me how to use it. It was the best 5-minute training I have ever had. I was consistently able to make the coffee shop like coffee ( at least close to that). Now that I am drinking more coffee at home, I just couldn't find something that would match the espresso machine. So far, Moka pot is the only thing that has worked for me. Also, this is the one to get if need it for A SINGLE PERSON. also, you are not really supposed to half fill or something and try to make less coffee in a bigger moka pot. QUICK TUTORIAL THAT WORKS FOR ME (Might not for you): - Boil some water in the microwave in a glass till it boils - Fill the Moka pot till the water level hits the round valve. - Fill the funnel with coffee lightly packed. Don't overfill. - Screw on the top properly. If some water leaks the first time on stove, tighten it more. - Put the Moka pot on a stove top (Medium heat) with lid open. Keep it on the edge of the burner to avoid burning/getting the handle hot. - Take it off heat when the coffee stream is thin and blonde. - Add whatever you drink it with. I add some steamed milk. ( COFFEE GRIND/TYPE IS IMPORTANT. I found that one of the coffee gave me very watered down results whereas the other one gave me great results. As far as I know, you are supposed to use good espresso ground or just a little course than that. I can't remember the name but I will update the review with the exact one that worked for me later. Till then, try a few) ... show more
