These curtains are so soft and well made. The color is perfect and exactly as described. I took a before photo during the day with the light on and a photo right after but with the bedroom light out. They are not 100% blackout but they do block out a good majority. The room was also warmer due to the thickness insulating the window. I absolutely love them and I will be purchasing more. No noticeable light leaking through the curtain! The grommets are large enough for any curtain rod i have. And the blue color I ordered was exactly as the photos showed. It may be obvious however I'll put it here as well. Make sure you order a size large enough to cover the window as well as enough extra fabric around the window so it can prevent light bleeding from behind the curtain if a full blackout effect is what you desire. ... show more

Got the brown curtains and they are excellent. Description does say darker colors work better at blocking light. Nice material, washed well, no need to iron or steam, did not wrinkle. There is no additional backing or liner on the curtains, it is the same material and color on the front and back. They do block out the light, especially outdoor lights from neighbors at night. For extra darkness on the sides of the rod, just hang the last 1 or 2 grommets on the bracket back to the wall. ... show more

I’ve bought 3 sets of these drapes. After buying the first set, I thought the fabric was great, they looked great, and so I was impressed with the overall look o and feel of the drapes. I ordered a lighter gray, a darker one and the peacock which is on its way. The only complains that they are NOT much of a blackout drape. The photos were taken around 8:30-9 am and the sun is shining right through both colors of drapes. I may switch out the ones I put in our master BR with a higher quality blackout drape in the future and utilize that set in my dining room or my hall or if I feel like changing up the look in one of my spare rooms. I can’t speak for washability since I just got them, but I’m still happy with them with is why I still gave it a 4 star rating. ... show more
