  • The best A/T tire for all-around daily use
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I am in the process of doing some overland conversions to our 2018 Forester, and 29" tires were on the list. While the BFGs were on the high side price-wise, driving on these quickly proved why. Keep in mind that I have really only used these tires on paved roads, and some pretty bad country driveways that could be compared to a rutted dry, rocky river bed. Pros The Forester handles better on the road. Hard to believe that a taller off-road tire would perform so much better on curves than the original Yokohamas, but with the incredibly stiff sidewalls these tires have, she corners as well as some well set-up cars I have done. They are much quieter than I thought they would be. Don't get me wrong, they are noiser than the OE tires, but quieter than some Firestone GTA Firehawks with 15k miles. I know not everyone will get the reference, but suffice it to say they are very reasonable for A/T tires. The grip on all surfaces is amazing. The only place I felt any real slip was going diagonaly over train tracks with steel plates in between in the rain, and that was minor. Everywhere else they just grip. They look amazing. I know that that is a pretty minor point for tires, but for some, it really matters. I have received more complements on this vehicle with the few mods I have done than any other car I have modified (and I have done many over the years) because of the way they set off the Forester. Cons They are heavy. You will accelerate slower than you once did because of the extra weight. My choice to go with a taller tire also contributes to that, but comparing within the same size tire, the extra weight will make a difference. Your fuel economy will decrease as well. Ours dropped about 4mpg overall. For me, the cons were expected, and turned out not as bad as I thought. I couldn't be happier so far, and after we travel from PA to CA next year, I will update how they do across more surfaces. ... show more

  • Expensive but great tire so far.
Style: R18 Size: LT265/65R18/E 122/119R 122R
So far a great tire that added a much more aggressive look. Drivability and gas mileage really has not changed too much truck still has a nice ride. Noise difference is pretty much no different from factory maybe slightly louder. Haven’t tried in the snow yet but I can’t wait to test them. Only thing I wish I ordered the bigger size as I ordered the smaller size on mistake. ... show more

  • Second set of these....and all is good in the neighborhood.
This is my second set of these tires. The first set was on a 05 Duramax 2500 crewcab plow truck used in northern Michigan. Over 200 inches of snow and could not get stuck. Everything from deep powder to the wet slush they excelled in. I had to push some snow banks onto people's front yards due to having small driveways and even with the snow on the grass they had no issue. During the summer they behaved quite well too. Good grip on dry and wet pavement, and low road noise for being 285's. I put around 50k miles on that set and they looked about 30% worn. Now onto the new set. LT275/70 18's on a 2016 GMC Serria 1500 with 2in Moto Fab leveling kit. I have around 500 miles them and no snow yet (Anyone else notice how crazy warm it's been in the northern states this year!?!) They are as quiet as the stock tires (Goodyear Wrangler SRA 265/65R18) and are twice the tire. The truck looks like a truck now and the tires actually have some tred. GM should be embarrased they put those on the trucks. They have been as great as the first set in the rain and on dry pavement. Once the snow falls I'm sure they will be just as good but I will update to confirm. For me, these are the ultimate all around tire and at a good price. I highly recommend these. ... show more

  • All around great tire
Style: R18 Size: LT275/65R18/E 123/120R RWL
Excellent tires! I've put only 2,000 miles on them so far. Conditions I've driven thru in central Wisconsin since purchasing: Dry warm roads, light and heavy rain, gravel, mud, light and heavy snow falls and accumulation, and ice covered roads. Thus far I have had zero traction issues. Grips very well in all conditions if you drive properly for said conditions. Road noise is minimal for the aggressive tread design. Going from the stock 4 ply garabage that comes stock to a 10ply E rate tire stiffens up the ride just a hair. Honestly a lot less than I was expecting running them at 41psi for daily driving. With proper maintenance and rotation then tires should last quite a while. I'll update my review further down the road (pun intended) once I get a decent amount of mileage on them. For now I'm very happy with them. EDIT: 3 years later.... had zero issues with the tires over the last 3 years. They wore even with proper rotations. They do get a bit stiffer once they wear down. I put about 35k miles on them and replaced with about 20% tread left. I do tow a trailer as this is a work truck 90% of the time so they do wear a bit quicker with added weight in the bed and tongue weight. I have been more than happy with them and replaced them with a fresh set of KO2’s a week ago. ... show more

  • Awesome tire that gets the job done!
These tires have been great so far! They are perfect for both highway use and the occasional off road use as well!

  • Great Tire
Style: R18 Size: 35x12.5R18 123R
I had these mounted on my vehicle last month and they are performing great. The ride is good, the tire noise minimal and the traction excellent. I have had BF Goodrich T/A tires on my 4WD vehicles for 40 years and they always perform superbly. These are actually 34.5 inches in diameter which is fine because the tires just clear the closest point in the front wheel well, another 1/2 inch may have rubbed. ... show more

  • They are true BFG's!
Style: R18 Size: 35x12.5R18 123R
I have a lifted Tundra with 35x12.5x18 Method rims and these fit perfectly. I saved over $400 bucks ordering them off of Amazon even with the installation costs I saved about $100 per tire so it was worth it. My main concern was "I hope they are not fake BFG's made in China" but they are not, they are real BFG's. Road noise is not bad. As you know, anyone who has ever had BFG All Terrain tires on their truck or SUV they are the best all around truck tires out there.. ... show more

  • Decent
Style: R18 Size: LT265/65R18/E 122/119R 122R
These are decent AT tires, but they are pretty soft and need constant rotating, really a bit of a pain.
