The Discoverer STT Pro tire delivers best-in-class off-road performance, empowering the extreme off-roader to take on the toughest challenges. Patented Armor Tek3 tire technology adds strength to the tire sidewall, providing increased resistance to damage while driving over boulders and uneven, tough terrain. The Discoverer STT Pro comes with rubber formulated to combat shredding and damage from stones and off-road obstacles. The ROCK CLIMBER SIDEWALL gets max traction to help conquer even the toughest obstacles with deep ‘Climber Cleats’ and Flex Grooves built into the side of the tire that grip jagged rocks and power through thick mud. The MUD SLINGERS 2.0 are deep, wide trenches with additional notches throughout the tread combine to give you more grip to power through and help continuously clear thick mud from the tire. They hum a bit at low speeds and it increases at highway speeds but to be expected with mud tires. I've heard many that were a lot louder. Good looking and seem to handle o.k. on wet pavement. Haven't done any serious off roading with them yet so will update later. They better work good @ $1971 for a set of 4 tires. Thought for that much it might include some stock in the Cooper co. My first set of the Discovery STT Pro lasted approximately 42,000 miles and still had enough tread to go another year. I decided to swap out my old tires because they have been on my Jeep for almost 10 years and due to an alignment issue there was some cupping. The new tires are amazing. There is very little road noise and the Jeep handles very well. I think as these tires wear out the road noise will increase (I believe this has been typical of other tires I've had on my previous Jeep). The tires are excellent for rock crawling, playing in the mud and sand excellent traction on gravel roads deep snow and slush. So far I have driven 6,000 highway miles on them and they still have the nipples on the tires. You must rotate them every 6,000 miles. And make sure they're still balanced. Downside is even though the tires are factory syped slowing down on wet roads and ice is terrible but you expect those two things when you order mud tires that's not made for either of those things for stopping power. ... show more

So far, I’ve had theses tires on my f150 for 1300 miles. They are a little louder than I was hoping for, but I wasn’t surprised due to their aggressive design. They are a little louder than the Ridge Grapplers. They are similar to the nitto m/t on the noise level. They are reasonably smooth. Most of my driving, so far, has been on the highway with some on gravel roads. The tires look good with their aggressive tread design. The tires seem to handle as well as my ridge grapplers. I have reasonably high expectations for the mileage since that has been my history with Cooper tires in the past, but only time will tell. I have 7000 miles on the tires now, and they are holding up well. They’ve performed well through the summer on these hot Texas and NM roads. They do pick up and sling rocks if driven down gravel roads. ... show more

I live in Alaska, they shipped here on prime delivery at 65 bucks cheaper per tire than in the shop. They will do a ton of crazy off roading this summer. Amazing tires. Track well in rain, haven't tried snow as I usually run a dedicated snow tire but will be great for the shoulder season.

put over 50,000 on my 1st set never had any issues they didn't wear too bad due to my jeep being very light they work great in all conditions as I live in northern Indiana and we get all 4 seasons here. will continue to buy these the give my jeep a great look I like them a lot
