It's been all over the news, Burning Man was crazy with rain and mud!! The media made it seem a thousand times worse than it was, but either way, this tent kept me dry so I could party longer! It rained off and on for like 2 days and this tent stayed dry inside. I was so surprised!! I don't recommend this tent for Burning Man, though, because the ceiling vents are plentiful and the dust comes right in. The whole ceiling/roof is clear mesh. The rain cover works very well for water, but it doesn't protect from the dust at all. The dust out there on the dry lakebed is super fine, so it may work well in a sand environment. I 100% recommend it for wet environments. I am 5'3 and can stand inside it with no problems. This tent feels large enough for 2 people and their stuff. It is super easy to set up, and I usually find things like this to be really hard. Takes like a minute! I didn't get it back into the bag, but I got dang close, and probably could have done it if I tried a little longer. The zippers lasted through being caked in playa dust that turned into mud that felt like clay. I couldn't open them a few times after the dust turned to clay but a little vinegar and water spray got them back to working perfectly. I wish there was a better way to hang items in it. The little mesh pockets are nice, but it would be cool to have some easy ways to hang things on the walls. You can hang things from the middle ceiling, but then it will be in your face. The zippers for the windows got immediately stuck in my ponytail any time I messed with my stuff near the windows. I ended up putting Gaff Tape on them. All in all, I am very pleased with my tent and hope to use it dozens of more times at least. ... show more

As a regular camper I have to say I was very happy to make this purchase. I have never had a tent so easy to set up and break down. As someone who is dyslexic, owning a tent that doesn't force me to put things together to make it work is such a blessing and it can easily be done with just one person. I love the fact that they also include instructions inside the carrying bag. The space within was perfect for two adults but definitely is fine for 3, anymore than that you will be a little cramped, unless it's children then you can make it 2 adults and 2 kids no problem. I loved having the ceiling open as an option, though I did find after a couple of nights it was just too dang cold not to have the roof on! The zipper in the front is a bit of a pain for it does get stuck like other reviewers have stated, but I think if you are caught in a rainstorm it's important to have that flap there for protection, so I am ok with it getting stuck on the zipper every now and then. The only issue I found was when I was taking the tent down to put back in the bag. However, when I did it I was in a huge rush due to an emergency so I didn't have time to really figure out how to get it back in the bag correctly. But, it wasn't that big of a deal because most of it fit right back in just fine. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I have made and I can't wait to use it again!. It's so nice to be able to have some open space and big enough height to stand in a tent and also without it being so big that it takes up all the space in my car. I have taken camping trips for years, and used everything from a heavy canvas cabin tent to a poly something or other pup tent. All of them had the same thing in common, you had to keep track of poles, assemble them the right way and in the right order. Even the dome tents with the bendy poles could be a challenge. We pulled this tent out of the bag, unfolded it and extended the legs and it was done! It rained while we were there so we put on the rain cap and stayed completely dry, even through some serious down pours. We took it down in the rain, so not having to take keep track and deal with poles was really nice too. We just folded it up, put it in the back of the SUV and set it up again at home to let it dry out completely. So easy! It seems durable, put together very well. After one practice assembly (and an added light coat of water repellant) at home on the day it arrived, I headed out the next day to take this camping! As others say - EASY to assemble! I had it up in no time with no problems (no husband assistance needed!). I was up at altitude (kinda cool temps) so added the fly. It was a great call because the first night a storm blew through with high winds, rain, and hail! I was worried about the exposed mesh at the top where the fly doesn't cover. I was sure that the wind would blow the water in. I was also anxious to see if my assembly and staking techniques were on point -- or would I end up in Kansas? But! The tent held strong, and the water stayed out! Re the zipper catching... Yes, that does happen. But, I found that if I ran my finger along the zipper and under the flap as I zipped, that was minimal. It was never a lengthy issue, so not a downfall, IMO. The zipper on my no-snag sleeping bag gets caught more! LOL Very, very happy with this tent and looking forward to more 3-season adventures in it! ... show more

I knew our family was going to show up 8 hours away from our home at the national park where our old friends had a camp saved for us. I also knew we were going to be getting there at dusk at best. I needed an option to set up 3 tents for 4 adults and 3 kids. I bought these and hoped for the best. We showed up and it was pretty much as dark as it could get without a fire. I am not even joking I threw these tents up BY MYSELF in about 3-4 minutes each. Not a drop of water, plenty of windows, or options for a breeze and exhaust.
