Very reasonable pricing. Pretty straightforward setup. The filter set up was a bit confusing to me. The instructions were pretty vague for the filter. But I eventually figured it out. Get some extra people to help you put the poles together and shift the frame around before filling up and it will only take about an hour to set up. Took about 3 days to fill up with my garden hose, not including overnight. The pool has been great all summer! The filter works effectively. I had less trouble with this pool than previous pools. We've had our pool up 2.5 months now and it's been great! The included ladder is solid - as are all of the materials. Very easy to install and uninstall with snap together. We put it up and then had to take it down to level the ground a bit more. Not too tough. We often have grandkids in it from age 16 to 4 and they are very active and love it. We've kept the water level at 38-40" so the kids are able to touch bottom. With that level, it was difficult to put on the protective cover - until I first put on a purchased solar cover and put our floats on top of that and then the cover was easier to place on the pool. I also used clamps to hold the cover in place while putting it on. Overall, the pool has been a great experience! I plan to take it down for winter and reuse next summer. ... show more

The pool size is great for a relaxing day, we have had up to 4 adults in it, with no problem, the quality of material use is very good, the pump is ok, you need to make sure to bleed the air out of the hose so the pump can be the best it can be, its important to change the filter, I do so about once a week to 10 days ... show more

    • A regrettable purchase

I thought this would be a cheap way to make our backyard in Phoenix more enjoyable. It was for about a month. Now that summer is fully upon us, it has proved to be a nightmare to maintain. If I cover it, the water gets too hot, like 110 deg F. Uncovered, the chlorine evaporates in a few days and algae starts growing. The cover wont stay on anyways. It takes 20 mins to install, and blows off as soon as a gust hits it. The filter in the pump can't handle algae. It gets clogged up in a few hours. Having to plug all the ports in the sidewall, so I can take the pump apart to clean it daily, is not fun. Since the returns are halfway up the sidewalls, it doesn't really get much algae out anyways. I tried dealing with it. I killed the algae, bought a vacuum to try to remove it, but I finally have decided I just have to drain it. That was made easy since the junk hoses that plumb the returns and inlet to the pump, have all cracked from UV exposure. So half the water drained out last night. Overall the thing is just not made very well. The liner is pretty thin, the frame isn't super sturdy, the pump sucks, the ladder is wobbly, the cover sucks, and the hoses can't handle any sun exposure. I would highly recommend looking at a different brand and a higher end option. Get something with a sand filter and better materials all around if you want it to last. All in I have easily spent over $1k between this pool, a liner, skimmer, brush, vacuum, chemicals, new hoses, etc..., and I think we went in it less than a dozen times. 0/10. ... show more

Easy set up, great to put together, but after putting two inches of water in and smoothing out all the wrinkles, discovered a leak! Found two pinholes on the bottom of the liner! Couldn’t find them from the inside of the pool but lifted it up enough to find them on the bottom side, almost like something dug into it, showing two blue marks with water beading out of each hole. Used a patch on the outside and indie and hoping they both hold up! Getting the rest filled with water today! ... show more

The vinyl pool is fine, but I'm really disappointed with how much plastic they use in the frame rather than solid metal parts. And the hoses used for the pump are super cheap and one just tore today with very little pressure on it. Too many cheap parts used in this pool. Finally bought a pool and we decided on the Bestway 18X48 . It arrived on time and was very easy to put up. We have used it nonstop for the past two weeks and there are no leaks and everything is holding up great . Very happy with our purchase! Definitely recommend!
