  • Fantastic!
The spa was very easy to assemble. We placed ours on our covered back patio. Once assembled, we filled it up with water. It takes about 9 hours for the water to heat up. Once it was heated up we climbed in. I'm tall, 6'4, and my wife is a midget, 5'10. There is more than enough room in the spa for both of us and for additional people, we laugh about it because there is only the two of us. She really likes being able to have room to really stretch out and move about, which she does frequently. She has a table that she places her wine on while relaxing in the spa. I sit on the other side and use the built in cup holders on the pump housing for my drink. I bought two air headrests to place against the sides. The spa is tall enough that we don't need them, there for we don't use them at all. I would suggest using the spa before you order the headrests, like us you might not need them. The spa really pushes the air and generates bubbles. It is very soothing and relaxing. It massages both your neck, your back, and your feet. We haven't had any issues with the spa cooling off on us, we live in South Texas. I will try and remember to update this after winter hits and it is freezing, like in the 50s or something (ha ha). The heat shield and the cover both fit like a glove. My wife didn't think that we needed the heat shield but it makes sense. The heater only kicks on when the pool cools down before my selected temperatures of 95 to 99 degrees, that's where I like to keep it. Utilizing the heat shield, even in South Texas, means that the heater doesn't have to come on as often there by saving power. I chose the Saluspa over the other brands because I felt like I was getting a larger sized spa for the same money that the other company charged for the smaller sized spas. The quality is great and I firmly believe that I got a great deal. My wife loves it and repeated tells this over and over. Happy wife, happy life! ... show more

  • Wonderful hot tub!
Great purchase! Husband says that the bluetooth setup was a little challenging - just be patient.

  • Poor performance, even worse customer service
Bought this spa to replace 4 person spa that was destroyed in a storm. That spa I had for 3+ years and worked great. This one loses heat very quickly and does not recover that fast and it is not much bigger. My main problem is that the inflatable cover has a small leak around the inflation port and cannot be repaired. Obviously a manufacturer defect as I have never over inflated it . I discovered the leak when I set the spa up 3 months ago. At that point I submitted a warranty claim thru Bestway and also noted that I would pay for the cover if it was not warrantied. After many E-mails and by the way, don’t waste your time trying to call them, they will just direct you to their “support” sight which is useless and offers very little in replacement parts. And don’t hold your breath waiting for a call back. So every 3 days or so the cover has to be inflated unless it rains which will pool on top. Cannot find a replacement cover anywhere online. So in a nutshell, my rating is not just for poor performance, which I could deal with because it’s not a $2500 hot tub, but the fact that if something goes wrong with their product I’m screwed. That alone will deter me from ever spending any money with Bestway, Coleman, Saluspa Etc. ever again ... show more

  • Worth it!
This has been great. Pretty easy set up. We pulled up a YouTube video and watched as we did it. Fits 2 adults max to be honest. 3 could work but it’d be crowded. Takes a bit to heat up and as soon as you turn the jets on the temp drops quickly. It’s been nice though we are really enjoying it

  • So far so good
Setup was pretty straightforward. The app is a little clunky but usable. Reasonably easy to balance the chemicals but you NEED to get proper PH balancer and preferably bromine. I put it in a smaller room in a walkout basement. So far (about a month) water loss and humidity haven't been an issue. Only been using it a on the weekends running about $30/month to heat up for those days. Heat loss is as expected, I plan to put some insulation under it on the next water change and maybe some kind of radiant barrier on the outside. Perfect for two adults, could manage four I think. Considering even an entry level solid hot tub costs at least 6x as much I think its great. I think this would also be a good choice if you're considering buying a full size hot tub and want to test out the idea a bit first. If you live in a colder climate I don't think this could realistically be used outside when temps drop below 50. For light indoor use or seasonal outdoor use I think it's a good buy. I've seen some folks do some modifications like filling it with expanding foam which I think is an interesting idea but keep in mind that will absolutely positively void any kind of warranty. ... show more

  • Great Spa Experience after a few hurdles
Arrived and unpacked, took a few minutes to find the minimal instruction printed on the underside of the box lid we had removed and cast aside. 1st suggestion would be to give more detailed instructions which could have saved the set up time by half. 2nd, let customer know they have to have a GFI plug available which is not usually available in a standard patio outlet and must be installed. Once up, easy to fill, set desired settings and apply cover. Used the available WiFi connection to set controls. Heated about 3 degrees per hour to 104. Enjoy the spa that evening. ... show more
