I have a small living room area in my small apartment, so my tv isn't huge (the stand takes up all but 3 feet on the tv wall). This stand is perfect, for me. It provides a stand for my tv, and also serves as a sort of end table for my lamps. It has ample storage, and the glass shelf, with the lighting effects add a great decorative touch, while holding my smaller shelf stereo system. The color fits in, nicely, and the finish is scratch resistant. I really like that the lights can be plugged into the USB port of the tv. Actually I have a small USB hub, since I also have a USB powered antenna, and Bluetooth audio transmitter, but... In the box, the whole thing is VERY heavy, but after assembly, it can be slid, or an end lifted, pretty easily, by one person. Putting it together was pretty involved, but the instructions were clear enough, so I was able to figure out how to do it without having to have another person. The item was packed neatly in a box with adequate protection to prevent damage during transport. All pieces and installation hardware were accounted for and also comes with a hex key and screwdriver. The wood pieces has a carbon fiber type of design on it ... made it look pretty cool. All pieces were well made. Instructions for assembly included. Assembly took me an hour or so. Quite tedious but the pictorial instructions were simple enough to understand. Everything fit as expected, no misalignment of any sort. The finished product looks very good. The LED lighting is a nice touch. The stand is very sturdy and can probably withstand TVs up to 176 pounds (as indicated in the product description). The stand measures 70.8”L x 13.7”W x 20.6”H. The LED can be connected to your TV's USB port which will supply the power. The lights can be controlled by the provided remote. Many modes and settings can be controlled by the remote. Lots of storage spaces for all your equipment and what nots. The middle shelf is made of tempered glass and can be placed on many optional levels. I love the looks of this thing. It was definitely worth the assembly in time Holds up my 42 inch TV and all my lighting and stuff that I have so far with no issues and it also finally gave me a home for all my larger compilation DVDs, and sets. if you’re a gamer and also have a lot of the accessories that go along with that hobby you will realize that this entertainment stand is a necessity. It looks better than it doesn’t look sure. It only took about an hour to assemble, which is nice considering the size of it the quality is much better than I anticipated. It is very lightweight but super strong and sturdy, the price is very reasonable considering the quality of the item itself and it has so many great spaces for all of your electronics.
