I want to say wonderful things but a piece for my tent is broken. The part that holds the iPad. It only has 3 sides with the white straps. I would really like this replaced. It fits my son's twin bed nicely and stays warm inside. I like that the sides tie back as well.

My daughter had a loft, but in the past few weeks, had started sleeping under it. She said she preferred the secure feeling of being under the bed, so I began looking at bed tents. This tent fits under her mattress because the bottom is open. The flaps stay securely at the sides, which as a safety measure, I wanted. (I didn't want to have to struggle to get in the tent if she had one of her seasonal allergy nosebleeds.) She loves this tent and sleeps so soundly inside of it. I am hoping once the school year begins we have easier nights getting to sleep. I will say, I know how to assemble a tent, and this took some work because the shape is a little different than I am used to. So this took longer than I would have liked, but ilonce it was up, we were good to go. I would recommend this tent for any child who wants that added feeling of security. ... show more

I got this for my son's twin size bed. It fit over it great but it doesn't secure well and slips down sometimes. Most if a side gets pushed on by accident. Have to scan a code on the box to get instructions. It's a little tricky but not the hardest thing to put together. Make sure to put the polls through all the loops. I did pinch my fingers a few times when I clipped on the polls. Also came with some fairy lights to hang up. I have noticed it gets pretty hot inside the tent when it's all closed up. Overall I really like the tent. I was hesitant to buy because of the price but I feel it was worth it for all the fun my son has had and how well it has functioned. ... show more

Our 9 y/o daughter has difficulty in open sleeping spaces. She would often sleep in the hallway on the floor because her room was too big for her, even though it's not a huge room. We decided on this tent after looking at several different canopy options. She loves it because she can close it up completely if she wants, or she can open any of the sides. I don't know that I'd get this for a kid who just wants to hang out in a tent sometimes. It'd be too cumbersome to take it on and off very often. It's not super easy to work around once it's up, in terms of sitting on the bed with her or changing the sheets. And the zipper on one side broke within the first week or so because of the way it stays connected to the mattress and her not knowing how to handle a tight zipper. It would have been avoidable if an adult was helping, it was just disappointing to have it break quickly. So far that's been the only mechanical problem, though. ... show more

I was very very picky when picking out a bed tent for my son. I looked at many tents and read reviews on all of them. I eventually decided on this one. Below is a list of the things that I was looking for: 1. It had to be able to fit over the mattress. Many other bed tents require you to build the tent and then place the mattress inside of it afterward. Since my son's bed is a loft bed, I can't easily remove/replace the mattress. With this tent, you simply build it and then slide it over the mattress. Easy! It fit perfectly!! 2. It had to be tall enough to sit up in. I found that many children's bed tents are small. At best, a child can maybe sit up in the center of the bed but then the top slopes downward. This tent is plenty tall enough for even me to sit up in... even if I sit at the end of the bed! 3. Temperature. With all the windows/doors closed, it stays very warm! But don't worry about getting too hot either because there are doors on both long sides and a window on the short side. Plenty of choices for ventilation. I didn't use the included lights so I can't comment on them. However, my son has a bunch of key chain stuffed animals and he hung them all up on the hooks inside. It was really fun and made a great play area! It is not hard to set up or take down. I'm glad set-up is easy because I put the tent up for about a week, take it down, then put it up again a month later. The poles are quite long which could be a little tough if setting it up in a small space. I'm extremely please with this tent! I think you will be too. :) ... show more
