I decided to purchase this item for my dorm to provide a little extra privacy and was worried it wouldn’t fit the XL Twin bed that’s most universities provide (5 inches longer than typical twin bed) YES THIS DOES FIT AN XL TWIN. So far it has been very cozy and great for when I need to stay up late without bothering my roommate. They also sent a string of battery-powered lights with clips that make it very cute. We gave this bed tent to our daughter for her 4th birthday and it was a hit! She has a double bed (converted crib) and the full/queen fits perfect. The material is thin but it’s what I would call normal tent material and feels strong. The pink color is so pretty! There is little hook at the top that we hung a plastic battery operated lantern from. Update January 2020: it’s been one year since we gave this to our daughter. It’s been great! It’s so durable her and her brother and friends have played in and out of it so often and no ripping no zipper issues (they zip and unzip in constantly) this is truly a durable tent. It’s a great buy and I’m so glad we got this for my daughter. She was afraid of all the toys in her room at night, for the past year it hasn’t been a problem thanks to this tent, it’s her own night time domain. Update 2021: this tent is still going strong! I love this bed tent. I’m trying to keep the heat down to save some $ this winter. This tent keeps the chill air off at night and I really like the extra darkness and smaller sleep space. It is easy to get on and off the bed. I keep the one side open but will pull them closed on a really cold night. I will most likely pack it away in the Spring. But it’s 30 degrees outside today and will be in the 20’s tonight. I am positive I will be nice and warm in this tent. I’m 60 and it isn’t just for kids. I’m glad I got this tent to help me stay warm this winter. 5 Stars Plus. Fits nicely on my Queen Size bed. Comes with these LED lights. And a mount for my Fire HD. ... show more

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever purchased. I really wanted to love this. My son wanted a tent for his bed soooo bad. There are only very vague instructions that come with it. I tried to find them online, only to find vague, unhelpful information. He is in tears because it won’t work, and I feel terrible. This was his main Christmas gift from his parents. I am an avid outdoors woman living in Montana. I have put any and every kind of tent imaginable up. Never have I ever encountered one like this. The shock cords work fine and he tent assembly part I could see no problems with. However, the problem lies within attaching it to the mattress. Fun and games over! It just plain does not work. It is a head ache and quite frankly, even if I did get it to work, I wouldn’t keep it. Every time I have to change bedding weekly I would cringe.....it is a mother’s nightmare..... My husband came home and I asked him to see what he could do. He tried for about 30 minutes to no success. He could rig something to make it work, but at more time, effort and money I’m not willing to sink into it. I have found a different tent, the Alventor bed canopy that I’m going to try. It looks much more user friendly and easier to place on a bed. Either that or my husband is planning to build our own tent for him using some darling Godzilla material we found and PVC pipe. I have a toddler who hates her bed, so she always ends up in mine. I've pulled out all the stops to make her bed as soft and cozy and girly and luxurious as possible with no success. Her bed is better than mine, now. Lol We love this tent! I think she enjoys the cacoon feeling. We got some color changing LED strip lights after this photo was taken, and now she really loves it. Finally, she stays in her bed and I don't have to wake up to a foot in the face. And It's so much cuter than other ones I've seen! It's durable. Easy to assemble. I bought another one for my son shortly after this arrived. Because apparently now he hates his bed, too. ... show more

I purchased a grey one and a pink one as a surprise for my kids. They love it! Easy enough to assemble and move around. Surprisingly easy to change out the bedsheets because the tent just sits on the perimeter of the mattress. I love all the details to this tent. I dislike giving this a 3 star rating but it’s not quite as sturdy as I thought it would be. The bottom flaps that are supposed to be tucked in under the mattress aren’t big enough to actually tuck in and keep it in place. I have to reposition it every morning after my child wakes up. It’s not hazardous and doesn’t fall down on her or anything, just slightly inconvenient to set it back up every morning. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered one with out a bottom but I made the assumption that the flaps would keep it in place. Over all, she enjoys it and that’s what really matters. ... show more

I purchased this product for my grand daughter's twin bed. It was easy to assemble. The three-way zipper on sides and half moon zipper at the head or foot of it was very thoughtful. Light hook, top pockets, and button tether for opening doors makes it easy to go in and out. When zipped it does keep the cool air out warm air inside. I am sad to say that the tent keeps slipping down over the mattress. The fit is not snug enough to prevent it from doing so. I am in the process of trying to figure something out ... show more
