Looks very nice. We bought it in black and it looks elegant, fabric seems sturdy. Just bought it to replace a similar one that broke when I left it open for some days while out of town. Only issue we had is that we opened from one end and did not see the instructions that where at the other end of the box. After installing on table had to remove it to connect the solar panel plug. That was easy, just turn the whole solar panel and twist it off, not unscrewing like I read some reviews, no need to touch the screws it has that are if you need to replace battery in the future. Once connected the lights worked immediately. It was daytime but a gloomy rainy day. Otherwise, velcro straps close easy, and umbrella is sturdy enough for the price. I did not try the tilt yet but it looks like my prior umbrella which was easy to use. Only issue is when you close it with the crank handle you end up inside the umbrella, but all have the same mechanism. I bought 10ft, which was much less than the 11 ft, barely notice the difference with my prior one that was 11. I recommend it. ... show more

This is the second time I have purchased this umbrella. The first one I purchased about five years ago and got lazy and did not "tuck it in" when we had storms. The thing held up!!!! Finally, the tilting mechanism gave up and we put a hose clamp on it which.....yea, no. I gave the old one to our neighbor who uses it for a sun/rain shade when he sits outside at his camp fire. I sought out the exact same umbrella. This thing is sturdy, provides excellent shade. The material is thick. It tilts, it has a solar panel on the top and little solar light under the umbrella. It's huge! and it has a cranking handle. The only reason it got replaced is due to my laziness. I vowed to my new umbrella to not leave it open to fend for itself during stormy winter weather. This is a high quality umbrella for this price. I couldn't imagine anyone being unhappy with this purchase. ... show more

The umbrella seems to be high quality and is huge. The instructions don't tell you that you need to plug the solar panel in to make it work though. You can read through the Q and A section and see that lots of others have experienced the same thing. You have to twist and remove the solar panel and plug it in to the cable inside before it will work. It seems like it would be a simple thing to say on the instruction sheet. I feel for others that may not be handy, or an older person trying to figure this out. ... show more

This umbrella was shipped fast and with all the pieces for easy assembly. Of course, the base is sold separately as I knew this from reading the information on product descriptions. This is a very well built canopy and pole system. I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself with ease. It is easy to tilt and open and shut. I bought a water weight base with wheels and lock so it is very easy to maneuver around the pool deck! I am very happy with it. The LED lights could be a bit brighter however but nice and soft glow. This is my second one. The first was broken by a super wind gust that actually lifted a cast iron picnic table off the ground. The only damage to the umbrella was a broken piece at the elbow. Glad to see the price had NOT increased in five years. Highly recommend. Just make sure you lower it during tornados. ... show more

I love this umbrella. Much better design than the competition which I bought earlier. This is easy to put together and easy to use. The only problem I have is that it has brown spots all over the topside. I am hoping with the rain they will go away. Otherwise I would have rated 5

I love the size and functionality, very much happy with that so I'm starting there on a very strong plus! But I'm disappointed in the fact this has faded so much in just 2 summers. Purchased in September 2020 but it was end of season here (northern US) so I didn't put it up much until spring 2021. Just set it up today for the 2023 season and my kids laughed that it looked like a mint candy, which prompted the picture. I'd like to buy a replacement but can't bring myself to do it purely due to the faded fabric: the umbrella is perfectly functional still. ... show more
