  • A great book for full time professionals
This book has become my textbook about good business practices for my photography business. There is a tremendous amount of information in this book, some applicable and some not. The important thing is, if there are chapters that don't apply to your business, then you can just skip them. This book reminds us with every page that we are running a business no different from any other business. All in all, this book is incredibly useful, and should be at hands' reach for every photographer who makes their sole living being a photographer. Keep this book handy, as you'll refer to it often. I recommend it highly. ... show more

  • Great Information!
I haven't finished reading it yet, but it has everything in it that I need to start my photography business. It is textbook style. I know I am getting older, but the print is a bit small and is hard to read for a long period of time. It reminds me of college textbooks I had to read. I think my eyes got tired back then too :) It has SO MUCH valuable information in it and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a comprehensive read on how to start and maintain a profitable photography business. ... show more

  • Great book for reference and start up!
Very informative book. I'm in the process of starting my own photography business. This book contains so much information and personal experience from the author, as he has is own photography business and has been in business for many years, that just trying to heed some of his advice and recommendations into the start of my own business will be crucial in it's success. I can easily see myself referring back to this book to reread specific chapters, prior to start up and even especially once I'm up and running! Great investment! ... show more

  • Great book for those starting a Photography business.
Great book for those starting a Photography business. It's a big book and covers a lot. A little thin on those that want to do fine art but covers almost everything else.
