For a cheap heavy duty roatary hammer drill, I was very impressed with power behind this drill. We had to remove an old sidewalk that was about 6" thick and 12' feet long and this drill worked for 10 hours straight without any problems. The instructions are very detailed and they cover the maintance that you need to do on your drill to keep it greased and running. The side handle is also very rugged and didn't stretch out like I've seen on other cheap drills. Would recommend for a everyday pro tool but for those I need a hammer drill once or twice a year, this one measure up to the tasks to be done! ... show more

    • Works - but overheats quickly. Great customer service!
Drilled my first 1.5 inch diameter, 10 inch deep hole into a solid boulder - things worked perfectly. Took about 15 minutes. Took a 10 min break, and I came back to a blazing hot drill. It was as if the thing were still drilling away! I gave it some more time, then started again on a 2nd hole. The unit is struggling this time, and keeps catching and torquing around sharply. I’m going to let it cool off completely before starting again, but it this keeps up I’m returning. I know this is an inexpensive drill - but still, it’s not like I’ve been using it all day at a job site!! I’ll update if things start working again after cooling off! ——— Update - I tried a new heavier gauge cord but that did not work. I possibly received a defective unit. The seller was very responsive and quick to issue a refund. Updating the rating to reflect the service. Considering the low cost, it’s worth considering as the risk of an issue seems to be low. ... show more

Worked great to break up 3 concrete piers from an old deck. Tool performed flawlessly. With the included bits, it was about the same price as a rental, and now I have it for the next job.

Not a professional, but needed a bigger rotary hammer. Have used it to break up some concrete slab and dig through some hard clay. Does what I need for periodic use at home. Time will tell how it holds up. For my needs, it's a good balance between price and power.

Hate Chinese tools. Always try to buy solid brand name products that are a least partly USA made. However for the project that I needed this tool for I couldn’t justify spending hundreds on a Dewault, Milwaukee, or Hilti. For the money this was a great buy!     • Chisel broke with first use and pointed bit dulled immediately

What good is a tool if it breaks on first use? You can see from the picture, that the chisel bit was made of such poor steel (pot metal?) that the tip broke off immediately. I was further amazed that there was even a divot in the side of the chisel face. Same with the pointed bit, you can see the end of the bit is smashed. Bit supplied with a tool should be strong enough to work with the tool. Fortunately, I had a Bosch brand bit I was able to use to finish the job but was highly disappointed with this product. This tool also lacks drill-only mode, but I knew that when I bought it so that isn't a knock on them, just something potential buyers should be aware of. I bought this in October for $144.32, now, a month later they want $169.79. Huge price increase for just one month later. Thankfully I was able to get it returned via A>Z. ... show more
