"Foal" is a grayish brown. I really couldnt tell from the pictures, so I just bought one when I am in the market for two. As suspected, this is not a true brown. It is a pretty color, I was just hoping for a chocolate brown. It wont quite work for where I want it-- used as a couch cover blanket for my dogs-- but it is nice enough and will work somewhere. I bought the twin size. Generous cut. Overall looks and feels good. I do think it might start pilling or shedding, but havent noticed anything yet. ... show more

I have Polartec blankets I purchased at BB&B before they went out business. They are my favorite add-on blanket for cold night because they are very warm yet lightweight. The throw is beautiful and while thinner than previous purchases still nice and warm. The problem is because it’s so thin you really need to be able tuck it around you so your body heat gets trapped inside and the throw is too small. I have to choose to either have warm shoulders or warm feet. I cannot have both. Note that I am only 5’3” tall. I have a twinsize blanket that is just too big for the tv room. I really wish Berkshire would make a 60-x70 inch size Polartec throw. The current size is great for kids but not adults. ... show more

Once upon a chilly evening, I unboxed the Berkshire Microfleece King Size Bed Blanket in Navy, and my life transformed. I’ve since renamed my bed 'The Fleece Fortress of Solitude'. Day 1: Upon first touch, I realized that this blanket is what clouds must feel like if they were made of warm hugs and happiness. The navy color? Like staring into the depths of a cozy, fleece-lined ocean. Day 3: I've started referring to myself as 'Your Coziness'. My subjects (i.e., my cat and a slightly wilting houseplant) seem to respect my newfound royalty. Day 7: I discovered the blanket’s magical property: it makes any movie 70% more interesting and any book 85% more engaging. Disclaimer: these statistics are not scientifically proven but are based on a gut feeling, which is almost the same. Day 14: I considered going to a party. Then I touched the blanket. I'm now a proud member of the 'Netflix and Seriously, Don’t Make Me Leave This Blanket' club. Day 21: The blanket and I have formed an unbreakable bond. It has seen me through two seasons of a TV series and an embarrassing number of pizza slices.
