I’m so glad we got these for prime day. They’re super simple to open and close- my 3 year old has no problem doing it all on her own. I’ve sat on getting these for about 2 years. Instead, I used individual containers. I got so sick of keeping up with the containers, their lids, and their removable seals. I decided to try these out and am so glad I did. I think my only complaint would be the portion sizes. I could see my kids wanting to eat more than what the portion sizes allow. On the other hand, while my kids haven’t taken them to lunch yet, I can already see how much more convenient they’re going to be. I love the cute design options, too! My daughter loves her little rainbow and butterfly Bentgo. Definitely recommend to the parent just trying to keep their kid’s crap together. ... show more

After about 6 mos, the leakproof sealing on the box started becoming puttylike and soft in places. There was also some pitting and discoloration of the inner tray. I called the support # for Bentgo and was pleasantly surprised to get a person on the line (no AI!) who asked for the Amazon order no. and quickly sent us a replacement. However, he did let us know that the inner tray is not microwave safe-- even though the product page says that the inner tray is microwave safe. I have found that Amazon descriptions are not really reliable on this, even for other brands of kids lunch boxes, so beware. Five stars b/c our kid loves the fairies on the box and no leaking. And because they have an actual person answering their support line, who quickly resolved our issue & made good on the 1-yr warranty! ... show more

The longevity & versatility of these have been have been great for my family. I use these for my 1 & 3 year old. I have been using theses Bentgo lunch boxes for about two years— 4-5 days a week & they are my go to for any momma. For the last two years I’ve also worked in the 1st grade and continue to see these as the most commonly used lunch box— so if your concerned about portions know that this will last you quite a while! I got this lunch box for my 3 year old to take the the park and to use at the beach. She loves it! We don’t use it everyday like a school age child would. Part of the latch broke. I reached out the company. They responded quickly. After giving them the amazon order number and picture of the broken part, a new one was on the way to our house. We have used our bentgo box for several years now and it is a house favorite. I like how it has several different sized compartments. The options are endless for lunch and I don’t have to use any ziplock bags. Best part is IT DOES NOT LEAK! We haven’t had anything leak into different compartments or out of the box. 1st) We LOVE our vent go lunch boxes. They hold the right amount of lunch items for our kiddos at school and are easy for them to access/close up on their own. 2nd) I seriously have not encountered a company with better customer service! The latch broke on one of our lunch boxes nearly 2 years into using it. I reached out to them a month after the two year warranty had ended and they replaced the lunchbox! My daughter has been using the bentgo lunch box for the past 4 years (Monday-Friday) and until now it started growing mold. I tried to remove with vinegar however did not work. I called customer service and rep Scott was really helpful and although past my warranty I will still be receiving a replacement. I've had this for a full year now and really wasn't sure this size would be big enough once my kindergartner had grown and gone on to first grade but we still use it daily! Also, the warranty is awesome and after a year of owning it and hand washing it daily, a white film had built up on the silicone. I emailed the company about a replacement and in 48 hours I had a tracking number for my free replacement! Well worth the money!!!! ... show more
