Great for diamond painting. I'm a beginner and hated having to refill the regular pens with wax. This is a great device because you just twist it and it does the refilling for you. The wax it comes with is very sticky and they give you a little comfort grip thing so that you're not holding an uneven metal surface. My only complaint was the twisting to get the wax down was a bit of a struggle, but other than that initial start, it's been easy. ... show more

I am blown away by the quality of this pen. It has a nice weight to it annd easy to use, and the loadable glue is what makes this worth every single penny. To push up the glue the fun on the top of the one you barely move it and I mean barely or it will squish just like normal glue pens when it’s overloaded. You will get the hang of it after 2 tries. This is the second one I purchased as a spare. It’s that nice. (Diamond painting is so relaxing to me, and I can’t explain how much more relaxing it is without having to reload. The media could not be loaded. I went back-and-forth debating if this pen would be worth it and I am so happy. I finally purchased it! It works so well and saves a lot of time not having to adjust and refill the wax. The wax that it came with is perfectly good, but you can also refill it with any wax. A lot of people said the wax wasn’t the greatest, but I don’t have a problem with it at all. The pen is comfortable to hold and easy to adjust. I love the other end as well. I think it’s a good value for the money and I would definitely recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time on diamond art projects! ... show more

I have been diamond painting for many years, I started during COVID in 2019. The hardest part of doing diamond painting is that I could not find a wax and pen that would work for me because it was so hard to keep refilling the pen. I didn't expect much when I got this pen, but just the fact that I don't have to keep stopping my work to refill, clean out, and fill the pen again intrigued me. I LOVE THIS PEN. It disburses the correct amount of wax, there is no wax residue on the diamond drills and I can even take one diamond out of a case with the tip of the pen. When the wax runs out, you simply turn the pen a tiny bit (like a mechanical pencil) and out comes the wax. You don't need to press hard to set the drill so the point of the pen never gets out of shape by trying to stick diamonds onto the canvas. I am going to order a few more just in case. I took the advice of other reviewers and immediately tossed the wax that it came with, so I can't attest to the quality of the wax. What I can say, though, is that it works perfectly with the standard wax that comes with every diamond painting project. I was able to roll up 2 squares and put them in this pen. Then, you just twist it to push the wax out of the tip. It's a total game changer! Gone are the days of digging wax out of the tip with a toothpick, then dipping it into fresh wax. With this, you just twist it, scrape off the used wax with your fingernail, and use the fresh wax underneath! One thing that I noticed is that due to the pressure it's exerting when you twist it, wax will keep coming out of the tip even after you've stopped twisting. The solution is to untwist it just slightly to relieve the pressure, and you're good to go! And a suggestion to the manufacturer - please make it more ergonomic! The shape of this is just like a regular pen, which causes hand cramps. I'm going to use a gel grip to see if that helps, but it would be nice for it to come with a grip or have a more ergonomic shape! ... show more

I found this pen to be quite heavy and hard to hold even with the included foam gripper. The tip is much thicker than regular diamond painting pens so it’s hard for me to get the drills close enough to each other so they don’t start going crooked. The drill straightener sticks to the canvas like all get out, maybe I just haven’t used it enough to have the hang of it but I found myself going back to the standard double ended plastic pens. The wax that comes with this pen is very good quality though, it lasts me forever so I’m not interrupted when I load it into the regular plastic pens and get in the groove. I ended up ordering another pen that’s ergonomic with interchangeable tips today. ... show more
