I use this on the back of my jetski to pull a 2 person tube. It works great. The only reason for 4 stars is the metal end could be a little thicker in my opinion. It's about 1/8 inch thick. It is strong metal but just feels like it could cut a rope over time. Overall a great piece.

It had two problems out of the box, but I've fixed both. First, the pulley is heavy and sinks. Second, the rope is really long, allowing the pulley to sink so deep that the rope wrapped around our propeller. I cut off one of the ends holding the hook, shortened the rope, and tied a bowline knot around the hook so it was the length needed for our boat. I also got a short section of a foam pool noodle, wrapped it around the section between the pulley and the connector for the tow rope, and secured it with some zip-ties. Bought over the winter and just had the first chance to use it. Didn’t last one trip. The boat side clip bent on the second tow, and that was only towing one person. Cheaply made, find another brand. Update- after posting this review I was contacted by the seller. Despite being far outside of Amazon’s return window, they immediately apologized and provided a full refund. While the product was disappointing, I give a lot of credit for outstanding customer service and would definitely do business with this seller again. ... show more
