So I've owned the two 10" version, the two 12" version, and now the one 12" version of this subwoofer package in different vehicles, and hands down for the money spent, this is an amazing subwoofer package! This one 12" subwoofer with the included amp rounds out the Bose system perfectly in my Infiniti SUV, and honestly provides more bass than I needed/expected. I never thought a subwoofer package that costs less than $200 would put out enough clean bass to shake mirrors in a large SUV. I removed the subwoofer and added the proper amount of poly-fill into the subwoofer box, and topped it off with the NVX 12" grille that fit this perfectly (NVX NV12GR is the part # for anyone interested) for added protection against the sub. Before adding poly-fill to the box, the lows were present but not "powerful". After poly-fill, the subwoofer fills the cabin with some real good solid low end bass. From my own experience, this 12" package does an excellent job at adding the missing low end bass from a factory or slightly modified sound system. If you have your door speakers on a separate 4-channel amp, the subs still pound but I recommend upgrading the subwoofer amp. I did this on the package with two 12s in a different SUV and the system was definitely able to keep up after adding a larger subwoofer amp. You'd be surprised what these subwoofers can sound like with a little bit more power (in my case, a true 500 watt RMS amp with each sub seeing about 250 watts RMS). No clipping or distortion...just clean solid enjoyable bass that fits any type of music! As with all reviews I leave here on Amazon, I will update if any issues arise from any of these subwoofer packages I have purchased. Bought 2 months ago, subwoofer blew today and I had everything turned down so it was getting to much bass. Spend the extra money and get a decent quality system

It was a nice speaker only problem is that it did not come with any wires besides the square one for the Amp but that is useless because it has an Amp already built into it but was shipped with care and its a pretty cool and big speaker

Came earlier than expected date. Nice solid box. I have a 2007 G35 coupe and I was hoping I could fit it in my trunk standing up but unfortunately trunk does not close so I'll have to lay it on its back, no biggy. Gonna have my friend install it next week and I will update my review and add more pictures after sound test. *UPDATE* Got everything installed from my friend who's been installing stereos, speakers and subs for 15+ years. Wired up everything and tested it out and right away after he turned up the bass from the amp we smelled a burning scent and it was coming from the subs. We touched the middle of both subs and they were getting hot just after about two minutes of testing it out. So he unscrewed one of the subs and cut the positive wire from one side of the connection and cut the negative side from the other side of the connection and just crimped those together and fixed the problem; no more hot coils. Unfortunately I didn't snap a picture of what he did but I'm sure you can imagine what he did. Really good sound from inside with very clean, deep bass. Dubstep and Trap sounds AMAZING. Inside the car sounds nice and good while from the outside it's not too overpowering so you won't really have to worry about disturbing others while idling next to them at the light. Some mentioned that if you don't have a hatchback vehicle that it won't sound good if the seats are up and blocking the trunk - well it is not true. In my G35 coupe I leave my back seats up blocking the trunk and it still sounds great. I had a 97 Civic hatch with two 12s and it sounds almost as good as that. He mentioned to get better subs though after a while. These are good subs with good sound but the amp can push more so get some better subs in the future he was telling me. In conclusion, I am very pleased and satisfied with this setup. A definite buy and bang for your buck. You will get the deep clean bass you're looking for, for $150 so I am keeping my 5/5 stars on this deal. Not sure what I expected but this powered sub really is underwhelming. This is like a beginner sub entry level bass. Don't recommend at all. If your on a budget like me and want bass I would probably go with the Rockville 10". I have the Rockville 8" and it's much louder than the belva.

This can NOT be beat for the money! Added to factory system in Jeep Grand Cherokee and it matches sound perfectly, not too overpowering on lows. At only 250 RMS watts, do not expect to rattle windows, but for good all around sound, can not be beat. Did not use power and ground cables, seemed small. Only time will tell about quality and longevity, but at the price....i do not expect this to last years, initially is great! You will not be disappointed unless you are wanting to vibrate mirrors off, then you need to spend 10 times this much!! ... show more
