This is the first sub I have bought. Read other reviews and decided to give this a try. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but after installing it in my truck,I have to say I am really impressed. A lot depends on the type of music you play through it, but for instance,I really enjoy playing Simply Red tunes, they have a nice funky bass and it really kicks through the Belva. At the right volume you can also feel a nice small thump in your chest. It takes a small amount of time to set up your system, but it is well worth it. I wasn't looking for a huge bass sound, just a nice thump, and this unit certainly provides that. I have a basic system,Pioneer head,Rockford/Fosgate 6x9's,Kenwood tweeters. No external amps. My system is now 10 times better after adding this sub. I have really good separation, and it is plenty loud enough in my vehicle. It must be pretty loud outside too, if I have my windows open and the stereo playing loud, people give me looks. Guess it's a bit unusual for a 60 year old to be blasting hip hop....lol. ... show more

Just installed this in my 2000 reg cab silverado. Rocking a basic pioneer deck, mb quart speakers. This sub enclosure fits perfectly behind the seat with more than enough room left over. Sounds great. Added the bass I needed. No it's not going to rattle your windows but it will add alot of bass.

If you just want to add some bass to your sound this is the one for you. If you want truck rattling thumpers then look elsewhere. Fit right under the back seat of my f150 and sounds great. Easy to install. Not too much, and not too little. Very happy and will be buying another one for my car

I bought this for my 2016 Chevy Sonic. And wow. It looked nice and didn't take up too much room. I went and had it professionally installed. It didn't even last 4 days. It went into protection mode. And took it back to the car stereo shop. And the amp and subwoofer both were fried. Save the money and just buy a kicker or Skar. And either build a box or just buy one with a box. ... show more

This subwoofer is perfect for the trunk of my SUV. It takes up minimal space which leaves me with much room for other items. The subwoofer delivers exactly what I need by adding some bass to complete the sound of my stock stereo system.
