This patio post light is a fine addition to our patio. You need to be a bit of a handyman as the instructions are a bit hazy, but it isn't a complicated project and if you take your time it all goes together well. And the finished product was worth it; this lamp really looks nice on our patio, and with 75w (equivalent) LED lamps installed, with a dimmer switch, it nicely fills our need for lighting the area. The three stars for "easy to install" is because you need to have a good foundation for this light, as it is about nine feet tall. Once the concrete footing is poured, with appropriate wiring through conduit installed for powering the lamps, it all goes together pretty quickly. If you install this lamp on an existing concrete patio, holes will need to be drilled with sturdy shields for bolting the base down. And there has to be a way to get power to the lamp. Again, once the foundation of the lamp is figured out, the project goes together nicely. Very nice, and recommended for patio areas. ... show more

    • Great value and quality for the price..awesome lights!
The color quality and ease of assembly made this product an excellent purchase for my yard. I’ve already installed 2 with 1 to go. I will return with a longevity review, but for now, I could not be more pleased with my lights. Great job!
