This is a great toaster. It's well designed, attractive, works flawlessly, and the controls are well organized and laid out. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Only one small detail keeps it from being a perfect toaster – the dials controlling the temperature have a very thin black on black line showing the level being set. I often find myself having to peer to see what the setting is, and even having to use a flashlight if the light is low. I may add a small dab of white paint to the dials to show where the setting line is, but one should be on the toaster already. The dials do have great positive clicking when turned, but need clearly visible setting lines! ... show more

When I purchased this toaster to replace one that stopped heating properly I had no idea that it had a feature for gluten free foods.....I picked out a toaster based on reviews and price...we needed a toaster, nothing lasts today so price was my first consideration.... rocket science wasn't used! I need to avoid gluten so that was a nice surprise. When toasting gluten free waffles, they now don't over cook or come out like hockey pucks. It works well, heats up nicely and toasts everything according to the selected settings. I love the color, which fits in our kitchen nicely. Very pleased! ... show more

    • CUTE toaster and love the features--BUT- - - - (UPDATE)

I have yet to have BOTH SIDES toast the same! I tried bread and English Muffins and one side gets toasted right and the other side of it is CHARRED! IT would be nice to have markings of where is med. and where is darker. THE names on the tabs. are hard for anyone with any vision problem to read (small print). BUT mostly--I want evenly toasted bread and I am not getting it from this toaster. Due to health problems We couldn't return it on time. I would IF I COULD! I think I got the bad one of the bunch! Company's warranty company sent request FOUR (4) times for receipt and I had sent what I thought was a receipt AND tag on bottom of toaster among 3 other pictures-----and NEVER ONCE told me I was sending the wrong receipt to them. I didn't know about the pale white print where you can get invoice with price/taxes. (Have vision problems with light colored, low contrast print.). FINALLY I used the 800 # and got (amazingly) a person with NO accent and she explained (not really friendly) what they wanted! NOW I'm waiting again to hear from them. UPDATE: after settling about the "receipt" meaning to them INVOICE------11/02/2023--within ONE DAY of my sending the last in the series of requests (a picture of the cord cut off the toaster) they replied and say the refund is in the mail!! SO that IS GOOD!! ... show more
