This is a lightweight microfiber quilt that is shrink resistant and machine washable. Very well made with tight stitching and a lovely quilted design. Fits our CA King perfectly. It came in a shrink wrapped package so fluffed it out to remove any wrinkles. Will see how it washes up and will tumble dry on low. It feels like soft cotton. The color is soft and warm for quilt bedding. I like neutral, earthy colors and this is no exception. Soft as it came and can only tell it will get softer with each wash as time goes by. No complaints from this and definitely will be used to its fullest.

It is a lightweight cover for summer but would well in winter too with an extra blanket. The material is soft. The stitching looks straight and tight.     • Quilt Good, Shams Not So Much

I put this through a wash/dry already and the quilt is very good. It's a light polyester (Otex) but has a very good feel. What's not great are the shams. The fronts have a nice pattern and some padding to back them but the backs have no pattern and are pretty thin. To me that's a shame because the fabric is true to color and the stitching is solid throughout but leaves the shams looking a little cheap by design. I always look for the backs when I buy pillow covers for the living room/patio. A plain back just cheapens up everything in my view so I avoid them. The sham backs are not pictured here and I made the wrong assumption in thinking the pattern would be on both sides. Also, the set comes with a really confusing set of instructions for unpacking and letting the set sit so it will plump up from the vacuum pack. It's totally unnecessary. This is a coverlet. It doesn't really plump up. We let it sit out all night for no reason. So, you can ignore that sheet of instructions. ... show more

I love this so much! This is really soft and it is a lightweight quilt. I love that I can wash it in my normal washer but it is also warm enough for winter.
