Update 5/18 This was very easy to use. Don't cook the glue as long as they suggest. After painting my nails with regular gel I use the glue but only left it under the light for about 30 - 60 seconds and used a cuticle pusher, that little rubber tool in nail kits, to rub the decals on. I trimmed the butterfly foil to size but was able to use the flower and holographic roses right off the strip. It was easy to add a second layer glue and the flower decals over the butterflies with the blue nails and I topped it all off with 2 clear coats. 5/23 update french manicure with rainbow metallic tips. Was really easy to apply. Uses FM sticker guides to add the glue and the metallic foil. Think I'm most impressed with how these came out. Have gotten a lot of compliments on this product. Will definitely buy again and try other versions I still have no rash and no reaction at all after two applications. Be sure to wipe any glue off your skin before putting under the lamp, it heats up more than the gel polish. The solid metallics will NOT come off perfectly. Expect to have to fill in with color dots or jewels/stickers. It still looks great. Rubbing too much can be just as bad as too little. You can use nail polish remover to wipe off the decals if you want to redo them before the top coats. ... show more

But truthfully these are the best ones I've bought. I've tried a few other brands & these out perform all others. Follow the directions EXACTLY & you'll be fine! I do suggest getting some kind of tool that can flatten the foils on the nails, though. Otherwise you'll have tiny pieces left behind that didn't get on the nail. ... show more

I’ve had the product for over a year and love it when it works properly but hate it when it doesn’t. Pros: • transfer polish is pretty odorless & easy to apply/cure • lots of options/colors to choose from that can either cover the entire nail or are partially clear so your polish is visible in the background • pretty when it works Cons: • can’t tell which side is the side that goes toward the nail so you end up needing to add more transfer polish and try the other side. Sticky mess! • some are rolled up with the top showing & some with the back showing (play the guessing game) • doesn’t last as long as the gel polish without it (yes, I put a top coat on and sealed the edges 😉 I wanted to love this product as most Beetles brand polishes and products I own are great & easy to use. ... show more

okay i have been trying a ton of foil glue from places all over the internet and offline too, and its been nothing but a headache. this was my last shot of even trying any foil glue, i was about to just say the heck with it and throw all my foils out! i am sure glad beetles products live up to their names and that beetles answers on their social media and literally took time out to walk me step by step in using their foil glue. now i am hooked on halo foils! as i type this i am wearing the fire foils that are in this package. i still have sort of a learning curve in pushing down on the foil and placement of the foil but getting it to stick is no longer a problem. 1. pick your design you want from the foils and cut it out if need be 2. brush on beetles transfer glue gel 3. cure 60 seconds, 4. press your foil onto the now wet sticky nail surface and rub and make sure to rub even the corners 5. top coat with your favorite top coat (cure time for top coats are usually 60 seconds) and wala done. super easy super impressed! now if only i wasn't so excited and could have kept my camera still for the photo! ... show more
