I have always had a problem with biting my nails. It was so bad that it would get to the point of my fingers bleeding. My mom told me that I should start painting my nails so I won’t bite them. I decided to buy the Beetles Gel Nail Polish Kit off of amazon. They have an endless amount of colors. They even have a variety of sparkles. They have colors that are perfect for the fall, summer, spring, and winter. The nail polish is also a gel so all you have to do is put it under a black light and it dries instantly. The nail polishes are also super cheap and affordable. You can get a pack of eight colors for just fifteen dollars. I have used this brand/product for a really long time and they have never disappointed me. They last for several months, even years. The pigment is so nice and it's not either too runny nor too thick. I feel like this could either be a pro or a con but they are very easy to take off. They do stay on for a couple days or so but that could just be me because I pick at my nails but if you want a different color of nail polish they are super easy to take off and pain free. Another thing about nail polish is when I used to paint my nails with just regular old boring nail polish, the smell was so strong it felt like I was in a nail salon, and with Beetles Gel Nail Polish there is no odor. You can also never be disappointed with the color choices. They have about any color you could ever think of. I have every color that could go with any event, season, holiday, or just on what I am feeling that day. Some days I just don’t feel the best or I might even feel super stressed, I come back to my room and I just paint my nails using this kit. It really helps me throughout all my life problems. It’s relaxing, fun, and creative. They even have little brushes to make nail art with. I have never had a bad experience with Beetles. I recommend this product to whoever wants to start getting into doing their nails, I have even tried doing my own acrylics with this polish and it works amazingly. Love this product, I would give it a 5/5 because the colors DO POP!! Nail gel is not runny at all and it's very THICK which is great quality and great coverage as only one coat of nail polish is required when using a magnet. Cured time would be the usual I use 30 seconds for my color gel and 60 seconds for the top coat. This gel polish is so thick that I didn't even have to add a black gel polish layer before adding the gel polish itself. I would recommend this gel polish to anyone! These are very unique colors and here is a set of Y2K nails I did for myself! I tried out the pink one and I fell in LOVE WITH THE PINK. However, I would say this was kind of pricy as I bought it for around $17 for only 6 magnet gels that only have 7ml. For this price, I would say it should have at least 10 ml of each bottle since shipping was also not free. Great product though very satisfied :D ... show more

Color: 0-0-Joyful exploration
These are cute and long lasting! The same as a lot of "professional" polishes I have and use. I will go as far to say that these are professional polishes. The colors are true to the description and vibrant. They are also slightly sheer so that you can layer them on top of each other to make different colors, but opaque enough to paint 2-3 coats and get a nice full coverage of the original color. Some people say it came thick but I believe its solely because of shipping and where its coming from and where its going especially if it's cold out. With that being said they have a nice little note that tells you how to make it your desired consistency and it solves the issue right away. I had no trouble. The magnet works great also. The same kind we use in salons and it is a full sized magnet. Not tiny. You must use the magnet on the cat eye polish BEFORE you cure to get the desired effect. If you try to use it after its dry it wont work. Another thing is these are hard to remove!!! But in a good way lol. Meaning the stuff is good and it ain't budging! I wore it almost a month and I had no chipping. It cures beautiful and is very durable. I'm a stylist and in a lot of water daily and it lasted great. I will add that I do wear it over an acrylic overlay but still. It's good. I use a drill to get it off quicker but it still gave me a run for my money lol. One con is that the bottles are travel sized and not full size. That was very disappointing as the picture makes them look bigger. However, the quality and the color payoff are so good they make up for the size, so I wont take away a star. If bigger sizes become available that would be above and beyond. Bottom line I will definitely purchase these again as I enjoy using them and the quality is great. Highly recommend. ... show more

For the price, this is a good sampling of glitter colors for holiday nail art. The colors don’t quite match up to what was promised, though. (My photo shows what each looks like with 2 coats of polish, with a white paper towel as the backdrop.) I think the blue colors are gorgeous, but they’re definitely darker than shown in the product image. And the color that looks yellow in the listing is more of a gold. The red polish leaves a rough surface so you need a topcoat before adding any overlaying artwork. And I’m a little disappointed in the green, because it’s silver glitter mixed into a green base polish, so you see silver specks instead of green glitter. (The other colors seem to use color glitter and don’t have this problem.) ... show more

Very pretty colors and applied easy. I have always had good experiences with Beetles so far. Instruction booklets had several tips for misc looks (french tips, adding jewels etc) but no mention on how to use the Blooming gel. Had to look for videos to use it. It is easy and I had fun playing with it but will need to practice. ... show more
