Bees & Trees Manuka Honey is produced out of the prized Taranaki region of New Zealand. Valued throughout the world for its wellness and healing properties, our Manuka Honey tastes great as well! Our bees forage in pristine, remote areas of Taranaki while the Manuka is flowering, and we manage 100% of the production operations. Currently selling batch 19, tested at 520+ (mg/kg) Methylglyoxal; which equates to 15+ on the UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) or NPA (Non-Peroxide Activity) scales. We are a closely-held honey producer with limited annual production. Our honey is produced in small batches, and each batch can be traced to its specific origin. This is the second jar that I have ordered from Bees and Trees. The honey is awesome. It comes in a coolr jar (as opposed to plastic) and I have to add that the labeling is simple yet elegant. I would highly recommend it.

I’m using this Mākuna honey to hopefully calm down some esophageal gastritis I have. I did my research on the digestive benefits of this specific honey & rolled the dice with this product from BEES & TREES. I’m so grateful I did! The shipping was top notch with great effort made to protect the jar in shipping. The honey could not be more delicious & calming to taste. This is ine “medication” I never forget! It’s actually hard to limit myself to the .5 tsp twice a day. After 3 days, I can’t attest to the actual healthful benefits of the honey, but I anticipate great improvement in my gastric health. I really like the Manuka Honey from this company, great flavor and nutritional benifits. Very informative about all the differences in honey types. Helpful when making a choice on what to buy. However, appears the lid was damaged in packing or production (wherever that may have been), but not in shipping. The box was not damaged and it was wrapped well. The lid had a dent in it causing honey to leak on the inner packing material since it was not sealed properly. For what you pay, my expectation would be as perfect as possible, not waisted product. However, I would buy from this company again, since they have given a lot of researched backed understanding on the rating of Manuka honey. ... show more
