    • super functional and keeps bread soft
So, this beeswax sandwich wrap is my new favorite thing! I ordered it, a bit hesitant and worried that the bread on the sandwich would turn a little stale in this wrap. I asked the question to the amazon customers and I had 4 answers back that it did not make the bread stale, and in fact kept it fresh and soft. Now, I have been using this for a couple weeks and I can concur, it does indeed keep the bread soft and fresh on a sandwich! My 1st grader LOVES it. He has been taking a sandwich wrapped in this nifty thing to summer camp. I taught him how to unrap it (I only wrap the string around the button twice to make it easier and it holds it in place perfectly.) I also taught him how to use the wrap as a place mat to catch all his crumbs, and how to wrap the leftovers back up again. He does it, no problem, and when I unwrap his leftover sandwich bits at the end of the day, the bread is always super soft! I am super impressed with this thing. I love it so much, I ordered my older son one for his bagels. He is excited to get his own. I wanted to try one out first before I got another, but it was a total hit. So glad I tried it! It was really cute when I first got it. I kept thinking how clever it was to put a tassel hook on wrapping paper. But one thing led to another one large dish load night and it “Poof!” Just like that it turned to mushy sandpaper.
