So, this seems to be fairly well built but I purchased it to fit inside a box on top of my 5 frame nucs. It will not fit however, just a little too large. It's really too small for a full-size colony so what's the point?

I have two hives and have one if these for each one. They fit inside the sloped outer cover just fine. I wish they were a little deeper to hold a little more. I am pleased with them. I like the clear cover so I can see how much is left by just lifting the hive outer cover.

I had to add the cut top of a sock to the cone inside so the bees could collect sugar water from the sock. It keeps them from falling in the syrup. Other than that, it’s functional and decent quality
