When I opened them up I was shocked at the quality. They are so incredibly soft, they don’t shed- which I honestly expected. I’ve pulled at them to see if they would shed, nothing comes up. This blanket is better than I could have imagined. It's as if a dozen alpacas were sheared (shorn?) in it's creation. It's the softest thing I've ever felt, it's very warm given it's light weight, and it's VERY cuddly. Truth be told, I joined a zoom call wrapped in this blanket like a human burrito. I gave updates on my department's deliverables, and on the blanket. CAUTION: It's tempting to join all your zoom calls swaddled in this impossibly soft blanket. Super soft and super warm! It's also quite a bit lighter than I expected, weeing how it was labeled as a weighted blanket. Either way, I love it so very much. My only complaint is that it's a little bit shorter than I had expected it to be, but other than than, I am extremely satisfied with this blanket. Definitely worth the purchase and perfect for cold winter nights. Just make sure not to use it if it's warm in the house or else you will most definitely sweat like crazy from how warm it will become. That being said, I highly recommend this blanket for those who are easily cold/have a lot of cold nights, but definitely do not recommend for those who tend to become easily overheated. ... show more

First off, I want to say that I do love this blanket. It’s a nice quality thick blanket that is so so soft and cuddly/fluffy. I bought it initially to just use on the couch but I’ve actually been taking it to bed to sleep with at night. I was surprised by the quality and how thick it was. It’s becoming one of my favorite things I’ve gotten off Amazon! The only thing that disappoints me is the color! In the description it shows this rich dark gray/black color.
