This was purchased for my son to use on a lofted bed in a dorm. It attached nicely and is very sturdy. He uses it to put his phone on mostly at night but it is sturdy enough to hold a beverage.

This shelf is sturdy and easy to install, but the price is way high for what you get. It is made of good quality plastic, but plastic nonetheless. If the price was good I would have given this 5 stars.
