I saw this Bed Mattress UV Vacuum being used by a YouTuber and I knew I had to buy it. And I wasn't disappointed. I have severe allergic reactions to dust mites. I have been using my bed mattress vaccum for quite sometime now and it REALLY works. It has great suction and pulls out all the dust mites on my pillows, sheets, and mattresses on a daily basis. I was skeptical of this kind of product but willing to try anything to see if hubby's asthma would get better by using this on his favorite cloth recliner. Did help!! He noticed the difference after just 2 uses in a week. Also got up more debris than I though was present. It is heavy & bit awkward when first using it but I figured it out. The media could not be loaded. Being able to sanitize while vacuuming dust from cloth surfaces that ordinarily can't be easily washed, is something that I'm excited about. And this product from SWDK has made that process easy and convenient. I'll start with what you recieve. You'll get the handheld unit along with its charging cradle, cleaning brush, universal outlet adapter and easy to follow instructions. All I had to do was plug in the base, sit the vacuum in the charging cradle, and allow the unit to initially charge the recommended three hours. There are indicator lights located on the side of the unit to let you know when it's fully charged. The unit has an easy to remove dust cup that houses a washable filter. All in all, design is sophisticated yet operation is simple. I started with the cloth areas of my sofa. Looking at my chenille upholstery I would have never thought I'd pull up the dust that I did. I simply guided the unit across the fabric surfaces allowing the vacuum and sanitizing UV light to do it's thing. I was pleasantly surprised that the vacuum has great power and suction. As you'd expect, it does give off a sound much like any handheld vacuum. I then moved onto my bed pillows. I do machine wash my pillows but I love the idea that I can sanitize easily between machine washings, giving me reassurance that I'm keeping my bedding extra fresh. This product is ideal for mattresses too. I'm impressed with the overall quality of all the components. And there is a safety feature built in that only turns on the UV light when the unit is in contact with a surface. The UV light will automatically turn off when lifted off the surface you are cleaning to prevent accidental exposure to the light. The unit itself is fairly large, but I don't mind it sitting out on my counter as I think it's a cool looking gadget. Of course it can sit anywhere that there's an electrical outlet nearby. It's made of quality components and there is a bit of weight to it but surprisingly it balances well in the hands and does not feel cumbersome. They have also incorporated a wheel into the design so on flat surfaces you're not really using resistance to hold the unit, rather you "glide" it across the surfaces you wish to sanitize. In a time where we have all grown a bit more conscious of wanting to keep our homes and surroundings clean and safe, this product has found a welcomed place in my home and cleaning routine. It takes no more effort than using a hand vac, but the sanitizing uv rays takes my effort to a whole new level.
