I got this despite a few reviews that mentioned a sticky residue left after use. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I applied this all over, focusing on my roots, and let my hair air dry as usual. Even without the use of a blow dryer, my hair has substantially more volume. Not only does it have more volume and bounce, my hair is incredibly soft and shiny. I have very thin hair and often struggle to make my hair look full. My attempts often result in a stringy, sparse look.. far from what I'm trying to achieve. This product creates the fullness I've been trying to make happen for years. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all and while it does have a bit of a sticky quality when hair is still wet, it goes away once dry. This is a miracle product. I read alot of reviews before buying this& everyone said it's only good on thin hair BUT I have very heavy& thick hair& wanted some volume on top, since it is so heavy. I used it like it directed& oh wow, it sure does give lots of volume! Now I only spray it on my roots, the first time I sprayed it all the way down& didn't like how it made my hair feel, it was kinda sticky& I didn't like it at all but now just using it on my roots, I'm loving the volume! So if you have thick, course hair like I do, I would definitely give it a try for yourself& see! I'm sure this stuff is magic for thin haired women! ... show more

I have very fine hair and this product gives it the best volume. The smell is pleasant, doesn't have a grease feel and not sticky at all. Most products I've tried weigh my hair down but now this. I've been using it for more than 15 years. I love it.

I really like this volumizing spray. Like many fine-haired ladies, I've tried lots of volumizing products over the years with hit or miss results. This spray is definitely a hit. For reference, my hair is cut in an a-line bob. I spray this products on my roots, lifting sections for even distribution and then spraying on my ends as well. I blow dry with a round brush and love the volume this product gives. The volume seems to last throughout the day and doesn't feel sticky or heavy. I will say that you have to play around with how much to spray on your hair. I used a bit too much the first time and my hair felt a bit "gunky," but I found the sweet spot on my next try. Everyone's hair is different, but just a heads up. Overall, this spray gives great volume for my short, fine hair. I definitely recommend trying it. The nozzle sprays easily and the smell isn't bothersome to my sensitive nose. I know shopping for hair products is frustrating, so hopefully this review helps someone. ... show more
