    • This works best over a toddler sized bed.
If you plan to get this for a twin bed it will only cover the head of the bed like a crown. The lights were great, exactly the kind of nightlight needed for some younger children. If you have a toddler bed it will cover the entire bed to the foot. After the child falls asleep you can turn the lights off if you don’t want them on all night. ... show more

Only rated 4 stars because I have no idea how to pack it back up, I ended up being a bit too much for the small space I am in currently wanted to save for later date but wasn't able to refold it back into packaging it came in. However it is beautiful, has all that's included in pictures, easy to install even came with an actual metal hook to put in ceiling if you choose to do that instead of sticker but sticker works well as well. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pros: It's beautiful and adorable. Just look at the photos and video. My daughter was so excited that the first thing she did was run full speed toward her bed and dive through the opening. It's surprisingly sturdy once it's set up. The tulle is more durable than it looks, so it can handle abuse pretty easily. The lighting modes are numerous, and easy to switch between. The lights can be powered by USB or battery. I don't know how advisable it is to keep batteries in there while it's plugged in, but my hope is that the battery source is bypassed and switched off while it's plugged in. It seems like that would be a necessity just to make it work. The hook comes with a line to drop the canopy down, and a drywall expander to hold the screw. Those are both excellent additions, as is the adhesive hook alternative. Cons: It's deceptively difficult to install. On the face of it, it seems easy: just screw in the ceiling hook, then hang the canopy, then hang the lights and stars. In practice, however, it's ridiculously aggravating. The star lights stick to everything, just by how pointy they are and how rough the edges are. They stick to the tulle until the moment you actually want them to. They stick to themselves by hooking their points around one another. It's frustrating just how hard it is to do something as simple as string up some lights. More than that, there's no designated place to put the lights, so you just have to make it up as you go. The golden stars are barely glued onto the string, so even a light pull in the wrong direction will rip stars off. Some of the stars on mine fell off by brushing them against the tulle lightly. If you don't have a bed frame like what's shown in the pictures on this listing, you might have some trouble getting the canopy to encompass the entire bed without slipping inward. I tried tape at first, but it wouldn't hold against light tugs. I ended up cutting holes in the tulle and using twist ties. Verdict: Get it. Suffer through the installation. Maybe you'll have a better time of it than I did. It's worth it to see elated smiles and hear cries of joy. My daughter said, "Thank you, daddy! You're the best ever!" That's all I needed for five stars. But really, despite the cons, it's still worth it. ... show more

This canopy exceeded my expectations! I ordered it for my 11 year old, who might never outgrow this sort of thing because it’s fun! This canopy has a ring at the top to add fullness as it flows down, and the tulle is nice and long and feels durable. I do advise not to open this until you are ready to install it because you probably won’t be able to get it back into the bag! I made that mistake - I said I would not install this until my daughter cleaned her room, so I had to store it for a little bit. Anyway, is a very good product. It comes with a hook you can install in your ceiling as well as an optional adhesive hook, if you’d rather go that route, and lights of course! We just had our ceilings redone a few years ago so the thought of putting a hook into it made me cringe. We are trying the adhesive route (a little bit smaller cringe) - so far so good. The lights were a little tricky to get on it, but once they're on it looks so nice! We're really happy with this canopy! ... show more

My daughter really loves this canapy. It was easy to hang and the lights are bright. Goes around her entire bed and lights up her whole room. Really cute and durable material.
