I bought a carrier for this and was carrying it home after I filled it with water. It fell out of the carrier and onto the grass and didn’t break. I won’t be using the carrier any more but I bought another one of these because water tastes so good out of it and if it survived a fall like that it must be good quality. When I placed my order for this carboy, I was concerned with it arriving in one piece. I'm happy to say that it was delivered safe and sound. It's well made, thick glass, and is pretty to look at, too. There's a flat section of glass in the middle perfect for attaching a label or writing in a date or notes. It also shipped fast, arriving one day before the earliest estimated deliver date.
