This is a nice furnace and can be used to melt many metals but copper is not one. I tried melting ingots of copper and the crucible didn’t heat up enough to liquify all the copper so it ended up being a paste like viscosity. Do NOT buy if melting copper.

    • Works great. Missing Manual
It overshoots temperature before settling down. Only happens at lower temperatures though (700F). For melting aluminum (1200F) it's fine. Missing the manual so I'm having to learn on my own. The max time seems to be from when it powers up? Won't heat up to a new setpoint unless the time is extended as well. Does the job, I'm happy. ... show more
